Well lilyspryte there is a restaurant in Washington Heights that says among other black lettered available items on the neon sign "Chochas fritas" which means fried "you know what". I giggled with my equally amused Pinoy bud and queried: ""Do you think the new white people know what this says?"

We were way uptown, in a deeply Dominican but slowly being gentrified block.
