Not hot at all to me. She looks a pumpkin. I saw a comment on Bastardly a few months ago about some guy she looked like. I can't remember who it was but it was so true. She's not the next Giselle. Her features are much too smooshy.

Gisele Bundchen is not my type of girl (I prefer girls like Alessandra and Adriana), but it is impossible to compare her to Miranda Kerr. Gisele is superior by far as a model.
Some people does not like her exotic beauty, but nobody can deny she has talent, she is the best in the catwalk and that she can sell anything.
She was already HUGE since she was a teenager and I do not think her relationship with DiCaprio made her bigger in the fashion industry.
All the things bellow happened when Gisele was only 18/19 years old (years and years before Leonardo DiCaprio):

I don't like gisele, i think her face is borderline horsey, and she comes across has as a real bitch, but who cares, she takes good pictures, and she rocks the runway.

Miranda is cute and pretty. She is the girl next door which kind of works for the Pink line considering it is geared toward college aged young women.
I don't quite see her as Gisele. They are different models. Gisele has the ability to cross over between high fashion and commercial.
Oh, and with Orlando Bloom being her boyfriend, I'm sure it's just a matter of time before we see her on the big screen. And that might just catapult her to even greater fame. Maybe something like that is her golden ticket. I don't think she can match Gisele on modeling alone.

yes, Adriana and Alessandra were fairly unknown in 2000 but by then they were also a lot younger than Miranda is now. Adriana became a VS angel and a GUESS? girl in 2000 and appeared in VS catalogs as early as 1998 (Ale didn't become VS angel until 2004). When Adriana was Miranda's age, she was already one of the 5 highest paid models in the world. So I kinda see Federica's point. But as long as Miranda plays her cards right, she can still make it big (bigger). She seems like a sweet girl and she has the advantage of English being her first language.
Oh, and Maybelline has made Adriana's face more known than VS has. Her Maybelline ads run all over the world, not just in the US.
She does absolutely nothing for me. She actually looks better in candids, but she is not sexy at all.

@9 Gisele, Adriana, and Alessandra were unknowns at age 20. All three of them signed contracts with VS in 2000 which puts them at 19-20. It wasn't until about 2004-2005 that these VS angels became more known. And we all know that VS made Adriana and Alessandra as known as they are today.
