Why is she required to be a role model? She didn't sign a contract saying she'll act as a role model. Actress is her job title, not role model. Any time I see some actress or musician or whatever called a role model or someone says "what kind of MESSAGE does that send out?" about someone, I always think, "according to who? I doubt he/she agreed to the job of role rodel alongside whatever he/she's getting PAID for."
Sorry, it's a pet peeve of mine. Sentences like "What kind of message does that send" or "What about the children?" or "He/she has a responsibility as a role model" bug the HELL out of me.
