I'm just glad Toy Story 3 and Easy A won.

I guess it's different for everyone, it depends on what do you want in a movie. Inception is a very "complex" film with an elaborated plot and great special effects. TSN is completely different, it has great dialogues and the performances are pretty spectacular (not saying that the acting in Inception was bad, far from it). I don't know what criteria they use to evaluate a movie for this award but it's difficult to choose the best when they are all so different.

agree. a lot more work went into inception.

facebook is just something a lot of people hold close to themselves, so not surprised that it's running away w/ best film honors...

I'd agree it was well acted, and I think it justly deserves a best adaptation category. But Inception was a far better movie in my eyes.

I saw the Social Network. I don't get all the hype. It made a fairly boring story reasonably entertaining but that's about it. Best Picture?
