The reason shows like this exist is because this year's Oscars was the Whitest in history.
Most of the people who make the money and vote on awards are White, therefore have inherent biases that keep Blacks, Latinos, and Asians unrecognized often.
90% of every award given out at every major award show is White, that's why White people don't need their own awards.
