Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Leaves London Heathrow Wearing A Fur Coat!

I guess Rosie’s making a pit stop in NYC, where the weather’s been kinda cold, rainy & overall shitty as of late. The beautiful VS lingerie model-turned action movie star was enjoying the London Fashion Week over the past week by attending luxurious parties thrown by some of the world’s biggest designers. Check the pics here, here & here.

The fur issue has a whole other meaning in Canada. It can be so cold here that I have the choice between wearing fur and snuggling with FoxyRoxy.

lol I was referring to the idyllic farm as you stated. I'm just being realistic here, McPerv. I admire your convictions and the fact that you stand for something in this life, which is a lot more than I can say about the general population but people will never stop consuming meat. It's too integrated and normalized in our society. People are also never going to stop seeking animal fur hence why I am attempting to devise an alternative to what is currently being used. Compromise is the only option bc your vision of utopia is never going to happen. Not to demean your idealistic beliefs, it is admirable but this is humanity and must accept it. As for my idea being asshole-ish, I think it's a little odd and unorthodox but not mean or degrading. It's a million times better than what is currently being done so one can't complain. I honestly think it's plausible. Imagine if you were abducted by some alien life form. They drugged you, shaved off all your body hair and dropped you back home, naked and hairless. Would it be traumatic? I think not. I think you would just be completely perplexed as the animals would but not negatively affected. You would recommence your every day life. Fur/hair grows back... and quickly at that.

i think t is cruel to kill animal for its fur and i dont own or wear any. fake fur is what should be used if pepople like the look of fur. i love animals but i eat chicks and fish. i dont have any thing lether but that is because it costs to much. if i had money i might by lether shoes or some thing.

i dont like rosie she has littlepig eyes and it to tall.

The means that the meat industry gets meat? They should just figure out a way to just shave off their flesh and release them, right?

Even on the hypothetical idyllic farm, which cannot be the model for feeding billions of people (just not enough land), they are still going to bring the animals into existence just to have a short life, get them to slaughter size as fast as they can, and take their lives. Bringing a being into existence just so you can kill him or her to satisfy one's habits and taste preferences is cruel any way you look at it.

As for capturing wild animals, shaving their fur, and releasing them, well it could never be done. But to respond to the hypothetical, of course I would against that. WTF? You know about evolution. Millions of years of evolution created their fur, which serves important survival purposes. Their fur protects them from sun, wind, water, cold, heat, it serves as camouflage, etc. So we're just going to take that from them because we think it looks neat when we wear it? And put them back out bald? Even if they *didn't* need it, you don't think that's an asshole-ish thing to do, to just have a "me like, me take" attitude?

Oh no. I'm completely aware. I have seen footage and it is without a doubt an atrocity... horrifying. Them being beaten, skinned alive, thrown in piles to suffer their last moments of life, electrocuted, etc. No one is denying that. Anyone who directly partakes in that is sick, twisted and sadistic beyond human comprehension. I feel like a lot of people are blind to these realities of the industry, hence why they don't feel guilty wearing fur. Not in Rosie's case tho, she's a cunt. A hot cunt but a cunt nonetheless. But what I'm saying is what if they were never tortured, never held in captivity, never skinned, etc. Would you be against them just being tranquilized, shaved down then released back into the wild? Bc I don't see anything wrong with that. It's the same way I feel about the meat industry... it's not the consumption of meat itself that's evil, it's the means by which they go about it. I feel like the majority of humans just choose the most brutal route when there are much more tranquil alternatives so I definitely understand your misanthrophy Mcperv.

Just to amplify, mink are kept in cages, they end up going crazy in captivity. They neurotically move their heads around and around in circles. After this miserable life, they put an electric rod up their asses and anally electrocute them -- so they don't damage any fur that ends up on those "beautiful" coats. I take it you have not seen the videos of this. It's one thing to read about it and know about it, but seeing it makes it impossible to forget.

My stance on the consumption of meat waivers... I try to be diplomatic on every issue that arises but I can see how one could misinterpret that as flighty, acquiescent what have you. I could really give a flying fuck what you or anyone else thinks of me and whether or not I am a good person. That's not for anyone to judge or define. But I will take this time to clarify some points:

1. Fur is not that expensive, at least not the pieces sold at my store. I make a conscious decision not to buy it.

2. I was dying to buy a puppy... until I realized I dislike them. lol the only dog I've ever truly taken a liking to was my beloved Sandy. May she RIP: But other than that I just prefer cats. I don't detest dogs or wish them dead as a species I just don't want to be around them.

But again my insincerity is your opinion so believe as you will.

They would feel repulsed just by the Sight* of it.

and i said that anyone who is truly against fur would not find it beautiful even on a purely aesthetic level because they would feel sick to their stomach just by looking at it. They would feel repulsed just by the right of it. Then you went on to say you're not willing to compromise your current position at that store yet you got all passionate and poetic over some stripper you're crushing on. I would expect that kind of passion in your actions and speech in your against-fur stance. I think you're only against it because you cannot afford one of those fur coats that you find "so beautiful". You don't have to convince me that you're sincere or anything but i just don't buy your anti-fur stance just like i did not find your anti-meat stance sincere that from becoming a vegetarian for a short period of time, you went back to not only eating meat but also defending it right on here. From dying to buy a puppy (and you bought one), you got on here to say you dislike dogs because they are all stupid and dirty. I don't find you sincere at all, ladylazarus.

ladylazarus

I think it's beautiful on a purely aesthetic level, like I said but because of how it is obtained, I would choose not to support the industry. I'm a sales associate, yes but I have never pushed any of the fur we sell on people. It sells itself. I work for bukharians who are borderline obsessed with it. As much as I'm against it, I'm not willing to compromise my position seeing as it is my only source of income and great experience as I would like to own my own boutique in the future.

d55

You're contradicting yourself. You claim it's wrong, brutal, unnecessary then you go on to say it is so beautiful. If you were truly against fur, your eyes would get teary, and you would feel angry whenever you saw and touched it because whenever you saw fur, you would automatically be reminded of the pain those poor and defenseless animals had to endure. Mink fur is beautiful only on minks. And if you're against fur, why do you work at a store that sells it? I don't know what your position at that specific store is but there is a big chance a part of your job is to encourage customers to buy them by mentioning how soft, beautiful, etc that fur coat feels on in order to sell them. I worked at retail, and that was part of my job as a sales associate. I don't even shop at a store that sells fur period.

ladylazarus

Oh and I think she is extremely sexy... her bitchy vibe only makes her more attractive to me. She reminds me of this Russian stripper I am currently crushing on... she is very intimidating, borderline domineering with her jet black hair pulled back tightly, steel blue cat eyes that seep down to your soul. heavy accent and strong, masculine features. SO fucking sexy. But I can see why people wouldn't find that attractive. I personally don't like ultra feminine women. But maybe this an indication of my heterosexuality. lol

ladylazarus
ladylazarus

She really has impeccable style. Jesus that sweater is stunning. I too believe that the fur industry is nefarious... no one can deny it. I think that people who wear fur, are merely looking at the object aesthetically, so as to block on the pain, misery and torture behind it. The boutique where I work carries a lot of fur... mainly mink but it's so beautiful, I can't help but be riveted. I would never wear it or support the industry tho bc I've seen the vids and I just wouldn't be able to live with myself. Why don't they devise some sort of technology where they can just shave their fur off and release them back into the wild? The problem would be adhesive... what would they stick it to? And how would they get the individual hairs uniformly glued? idk but I wish they would so they could stop the unnecessary brutality and so that ppl can still enjoy fashion in an ethical manner.

Yes. It's sad because the majority of people don't care about animals. People think fur and meat is their only purpose.

and that's why I feel compelled to say something whenever I see fur. I know this is only a gossip website but I feel responsible for speaking up against any injustice that I see no matter where. If i don't speak up, if others don't speak, if you don't speak up, who is going to speak up? Some voice has to be raised. No chance can take place without first speaking up.

Fur has been so glamorized by rich people that it got turned into a status quo symbol in society. You can't carry your mercedes on your back wherever you go so how else are you going to let everyone know you're rich thus entitled to demand respect and admiration by the little people around you? By putting on fur. Such people are stuck up (i don't care how sweet they might appear on the surface), insecure, money hungry, materialistic, very selfish, gives way too much fuck about what others thought of them, couldn't careless about the people who are less fortunate, etc. It's a sickness, really. Now, people might mention some celebs who wear fur but still donate to this and that, cry a couple of crocodile tears in public eye but that's all for show. I am not saying they are monsters but you can easily distinguish between someone who is genuinely compassionate and someone whose world actually revolves around no one but herself.
