Tune in tonight to the “Late Show with David Letterman” to catch his (probably awkward) interview with Charlize Theron. Maybe I’m just a big Kimmel fan, but D. Letterman needs to retire just like all the other oldies who’re taking their final bow (a la the late Andy Rooney, Regis, & Larry King).
Anyway, the beautiful Charlize Theron is on the show to promote her new film “Young Adult,” which is an comedy directed by Jason Reitman from a screenplay written by Diablo Cody (she was behind “Juno”). I saw the trailer a month ago at the theater & found it to be funny, but my love for Charlize makes me a little bias. Here’s more about the film:
Charlize Theron plays Mavis Gary, a writer of teen literature who returns to her small hometown to relive her glory days and attempt to reclaim her happily married high school sweetheart (Patrick Wilson). When returning home proves more difficult than she thought, Mavis forms an unusual bond with a former classmate (Patton Oswalt) who hasn’t quite gotten over high school, either. [Source]
