Mariah Carey Can’t Talk About Whitney, But She Can Strike a Pose!

“The Voice” is gone but life goes on for pop diva Mariah Carey who stopped by ABC’s Good Morning America today to dish about her life, her upcoming musical performances, and (of course) Whitney Houston. Carey told host Robin Roberts, “I’m almost incapable of talking about this still . . . it’s very heavy emotionally.” She then added, “”I loved her. We all loved her. guess i was going by this and every review of her's at all music post charmbracelet too. the question is always there that her voice is used different/gets different production vs back in the day to make her sound more 'modern' or it could be hiding maybe not having the octave fire she had back in the day(no problem with that)

but a good question...

snippet from the e=mc2 review...

Touch My Body" is all about sound, rhythm, and texture and not so much about song, something that helps sustain Mariah Carey's run at the top the charts, but something that also pushes melodic hooks, and in the process singing, into the background.

and yes i love allmusic. :)

I didn't really know her until Emancipation of Mimi (and well Glitter before that) and she sounded nice to me.

i don't think her voice is the 'same' as it was back in the day.so she may not be able to do that...

... She could learn from Adele. Sing more than focusing on looking sexy.
