The Bronx-born 25-year-old has certainly come a long way since hit the career lottery with the ABC hit “Glee” back in ’09. Now that her character on the show is graduating from high school, Lea will be replaced by new talent in an attempt to keep the show fresh.
Now that Lea will have much more time to concentrate on other projects, I’m pretty sure she’s scouting out prospective projects on the big screen, so let’s hope for the best considering this chick absolutely kills it whenever she comes near a red carpet! The only project in the pipe as of right now is the upcoming animated feature, “Dorothy of Oz,” which hits theaters on August 3. Aside from Lea scoring the role of Dorothy, the cast includes Martin Short as The Wicked Jester, Dan Aykroyd as The Scarecrow, Kelsey Grammer as The Tin Man, James Belushi as The Cowardly Lion, and Hugh Dancy as Marshall Mallow.
Besides that, thank goodness for Twitter b/c last week we learned that Lea went in for a dental surgery (at least that’s what she’s calling it, but we know that’s Hollywood code for “rack and/or ass implants”). This past Sunday she Tweeted, ‘Feeling all better from my surgery! So happy it’s over and done with! Back to work.’View All Photos ›
