The Human Rights Gala happened yet again in Los Angeles last night at the JW Marriott where all things gay, gay marriage, and marriage equality reconvened for yet another push to relitigate Prop 8. Or something like that, only a lot more fun and sexy with celebs like Chelsea Handler and Charlize Theron on hand to lend their support. Just once, though, I think it would be nice for the HRC Gala to take place in, oh I dunno, Boise, where gay rights isn’t exactly the mainstay it is in Los Angeles. It’s kinda like having a Mormons Are Okay Rally in Salt Lake City. Not so earth-shattering, is it, Chelsea?
