The Alliance for Women in Media hosts The Gracies to celebrate “the realistic and faceted portrayal of women in entertainment, commercials, news, features and other programs.” The event was hosted by The Office’s Angela Kinsey, performance included The Voice’s Vicci Martinez and Glee Project’s Hannah McIalwain. Amongst the winners included Sarah Shahi, winning Outstanding Female Actor in a Breakthrough Role for Fairly Legal and Carrie Brownstein winning Outstanding Female Actor in a Supporting Role in a Comedy for IFC’s Portlandia.
