Fanboys, fangirls, and fan-nerds alike were in full swoon yesterday when Disney unveiled the first public footage of Gore Verbinksi’s $250 million spectacle,The Lone Ranger which is set to release next year and stars Johnny Depp as Tonto and Armie Hammer as the Masked Cowboy.
The immediate reaction was one of awe, with many onlookers supposedly proclaiming it to be “awesome” and “amazing” (though the wiki nerds were on hand to immediately declare it “overblown” – it’s a Gore Verbinski movie, for god’s sake!) which is good news for Disney after the production has been delayed and reshoots were done on some key sequences. Footage isn’t available online just yet, but we’re sure the magical fairies and dwarves over at the Mouse House are preparing to work the PR and marketing machine on this on overtime: after the disaster that was John carter, they have no other choice.

IDK..I guess I would have to check out some more pics, but that lone ranger dude looks like a dork, I would had picked Depp as lone ranger and this dude as the injun...that's my opinion.
