In hopes to keep comments regarding the redesign in one place, we’re going to use this post.
We get it, the site is far from perfect (to put it lightly), but hey, who said we have sensible taste & tons of money to drop on an expensive designer? Our goal was to strip out all the bullshit & concentrate on creating a very fast & stable website that we could slowly build on over time. If it makes any of haters feel better, just keep in mind that this is a work in progress.
We’d like to hear your likes & dislikes so that we can take everything into account as we move forward with further updates.

The infinite scrolling is fine but only when the newest posts are on top.
A track button or something like it would be great. Not the email crap or the notes at gravatar. This site should thell me if there are follow up comments.
The 'check out these galleries/celebrity catwalk' stuff is still there. Why? That's the only thing everybody here agrees about - it's annoying. Doesn't matter if it is at the top/middle/bottom - it has to go.
And get rid of the rate this thumps. Nobody is really into this anyway.
Over the next few days we're getting somethig programmed that pulls in all comments left on attachment photo pages into the main story page so that you get a better sense of all comments through an entire set of photos in the gallery. So this will make it easier to follow your comments as well as replies.
Guy will start work on this tomorrow.

Hey Moe, why can't we just have one single page to comment on, instead of commenting on every single picture? having to look up your own comments are too fucking annoying...and most of the time I can't even find them...everything looks good, just too much crap all over, simpler is much better, but I do like the high resolution pictures tho....

i would say i visit this site more from my phone than pc.......but i prefer a regular sites over mobile versions any day (even on my phone)

Hi Juicy Lucy, there were mostly respectable people here until the website was downgraded last week. Now, with no logins anymore, the animals are already starting to rule the zoo.
I have the same probs with IE8. Pretty stupid to not test with the most widely used browser.

It seems most people change solely for the sake of change. Myspace/facebook/twitter/now this. Funny enough the majority of the time they always end up making it worse.
New comments at the bottom ppft like its always been and like it always is for every single site out there. That would be confusing as shit. My brain cannot handle that much processing power.

One benefit to newer being at the bottom is they would be in order older to newer. Might be easier to follow that way....I've seen comments sections on news stories done both ways.
I tested it on pretty much all browsers EXCEPT IE, so not surprised...
One thing I noticed is this website displays better on Firefox. Using IE it shows kinda jumbled at the top, even when using the compatibility mode.
So, what's the official take? new comments at the top or bottom?
