Nicki Minaj Had A Couple Performances In NYC

For those of you who haven’t hit a Nicki Minaj show, you should try to go once b/c she really knows how to have fun on stage while busting out a wide variety of beats. I went a couple years back to her album release show and everyone showed up to the party—from Rihanna to Drake to even Kanye West for quickie. Definitely one of those hard-to-forget shows, but Nicki lived up to all the hype and absolutely killed it. That’s one of the reasons I get so upset when I see her running around dressed like a clown b/c this chick is so talented & in my opinion, doesn’t really need to try so hard to get attention. I guess it’s the Gaga-effect, people in her inner circle have led her to believe that if she doesn’t dress like a total freak, people will stop giving a shit about her.

The ones of Nicki in the red getup were taken yesterday as she performed live at Rockefeller Plaza as part of the Toyota Concert Series. The concert aired on NBC’s ‘Today’. The other set with the pastel top & tan-colored spandex was taken last night during her performance at the Roseland Ballroom in NYC as part of her Pink Friday Tour, which is co-sponsored by Pepsi.

Transition Drama(Cont.): All Gallery Comments On Story Page

First of all, thanks to all of you for your continued patience & support as we slowly transition into our new home. Again, I know some of you are having withdrawals, but join WordPress & you’ll see the true benefits of the platform. You can track all your comments, replies & even start your own blog! It’s definitely a win/win.

Comments From Individual Photos Pushed To Story Page
As promised, our kind developer has coded in a nifty little thing that forces all comments left on gallery photo pages to appear on the story page so that nothing gets missed or overlooked. These comments will look something like this:

Clicking on the “From Photo Gallery” text will take you to the photo that’s referenced in the comment. While we can just dump the comments on individual photos very easily, we figured they’re worth having since some people have very specific comments that make sense only for a particular photo.

Tracking Comments & Replies
This goes back to the whole joining WordPress thing w/ a quick sleeper account that will allow for notifications & much more. Notifications appear in a little window at the top right corner. Click the comment bubble & you’ll see this box appear:

It’s definitely not a bad tool if you leave a lot of comments on a large number of posts. Plus, there are countless of other WP blogs that you can now follow with ease!

Mobile Version
Currently we’re tweaking the mobile version of the site, but you’re welcome to load the full version of the site on your smartphone until we kill all the bugs. I saw a couple comments linked to this issue, so that’s why I’m bringing it up.

Jordana Brewster was photographed out and about first in West Hollywood for a workout (sponsored by Nike) and refreshing cold beverage to follow (sponsored by The Coffee Bean). Later in the day, Jordana was in Beverly Hills doing some shopping at Planet Blue. As you already know, Jordana currently stars as Elena Ramos in TNT’s series reboot of Dallas, renewed for a second season slated to premiere in January 2013. She’ll also once again star as Mia Toretto in Fast Six, this time they’ll be on the run in Europe; slated for release in May 2013.

Amy Childs was photographed doing some promo work as she launched her debut fragrance aptly named “Amy Childs: at Aura in London. After the failure of It’s All About Amy, Amy has continued to get gigs post-TOWIE, most recently an episode of Let’s Do Lunch with Gino & Mel. Look for Amy to continue to plug her own products since we have no idea of what other talents she could possibly have given her rise to fame being from Reality TV.

And the Backlash Begins: Kristen Stewart Dropped from “Snow White” Sequel

“Universal has decided to shelf its planned Snow White and the Huntsman sequel and is instead focusing on a solo Huntsman movie starring Chris Hemsworth. Kristen Stewart will not be invited to return if the follow-up goes forward.”[THR]

As Robert Pattinson continues to make him media rounds to promote his new release of the week, Cosmpolis, his ex (?) Kristen Stewart is facing the full fledged backlash from studios that don’t seem to trust her around their eye-roving directors. Rupert Sanders, the director with whom she had the much publicized fling that inspired the ire of Team Edward, is reportedly set to return to helm the sequel of Snow White, which raises the question: if Sanders can be invited back to the film and trusted to behave professionally, why not Stewart? Is the old Boys Club back in full swing, ostracizing women while turning their heads from men accused of the same indiscretions? I’m hardly a fan of Stewart’s but I have to say this one reeks of archaic double standards. Hopefully, the franchise dead.
