Leonardo DiCaprio & director Martin Scorsese were spotted on the set of their new film “The Wolf of Wall St” in NYC yesterday afternoon. This is the duo’s fifth collaboration, with previous titles including “Aviator,” “Gangs of New York,” “The Departed,” and “Shutter Island.” For the record, all films on the list must-sees, so I’m really curious about their latest project, to say the least. Along with Leo as the lead, the film, which is based on a memoir of the same name by Jordan Belfort, stars Jonah Hill, Jean Dujardin, Rob Reiner, Kyle Chandler, and Matthew McConaughey. The release is scheduled for sometime in 2013 (we’re thinking summer/fall). According to IMDb, here’s some plot juice: “A New York stockbroker refuses to cooperate in a large securities fraud case involving corruption on Wall Street, corporate banking world and mob infiltration.”
On a related topic, Leo’s supermodel girlfriend Erin Heatherton was seen lunching with friends while Leo was busy filming in lower Manhattan. How convenient, right? It’s nice to see that Leo’s team of relationship managers pick & choose his girlfriends depending on the location of his upcoming films. The 23-year-old hottie from Skokie, Illinois currently makes ends meet by modeling lingerie for Victoria’s Secret. Damn you, Leo!
