Nina Dobrev Spices Up Ocean Drive Magazine; Wants To Do A ‘Bond’ Film

The shoot comes ahead of Nina Dobrev’s upcoming film premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival which kicks off on September 6. The Toronto native stars alongside the one & only Emma Watson in the drama “The Perks of Being a Wallflower,” so many congrats to Nina & Co. for scoring such a nice gig. The film is based on the book of the same name by writer Stephen Chbosky & coincidentally will be directed by him, as well. Other members of the cast includes Ezra Miller, Paul Rudd, Kate Walsh & others.

Here’s some plot action:

Based on the novel written by Stephen Chbosky, this is about 15-year-old Charlie (Logan Lerman), an endearing and naive outsider, coping with first love (Emma Watson), the suicide of his best friend, and his own mental illness while struggling to find a group of people with whom he belongs. The introvert freshman who is taken under the wings of two seniors who welcome him to the real world. [Source]

For the Ocean Drive piece, Nina was interviewed by “Perks” director Stephen Chbosky, so make sure you check it out. We have a brief excerpt directly below:

Stephen Chbosky: You’ve done great work in television, and you’ve done great work in movies….

Nina Dobrev: I want to work in an action movie at some point, because I feel like the almost two months that we shot wasn’t long enough.

SC: What’s a dream role for you right now?

ND: I want to do a little bit of everything. My dream role is to do a James Bond film, or if they did another Lara Croft, or even a prequel to Lara Croft, I’d want to do that, to get it out of my system. Do you know the play August: Osage County?

SC: Yes, it’s one of my favorite plays. It’s brilliant.

ND: Ditto. They’re making it into a movie, and Julia Roberts and Meryl Streep are playing the moms. My dream role would be the daughter. I think they’re shooting it while I’m doing [The Vampire Diaries], but that’s the kind of thing I love. I want to play strong characters and real people.

Excuse the long title, but with so many things happening in a single photo, we gotta bust it all out so all the bastards with celebrity curb fetishes can properly locate the photos. And yes, all the search engine keywords research we’ve done over the past eight years confirms that there are countless people around the globe with kinky fetishes involving leggy celebrities going up & down curbs. These were snapped yesterday afternoon on the set of her new film “Parental Guidance Suggested,” which is currently filming in Los Angeles. The former Disney star was dressed in barely there short shorts—something we saw her wearing on a daily basis on the set of next summer’s “Spring Breakers” film.

As we mentioned before, Selena’s latest film also stars Elisabeth Shue, Mary-Louise Parker, Heather Graham and Cary Elwes. According to the film’s IMDb page, it appears the flick’s name was recently changed to “Feed the Dog,” which sounds very random, at least until we learn more about the plot. Not much is known besides the cast members & the fact that it’s caters to the lucrative teeny-bopper community.

Yes, Alec Baldwin and Hilaria Thomas Baldwin are still together and most likely she’s racking up quite a credit card statement spending his money. The couple spent some time to attend the Research Without Cruelty, a benefit for the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine held at a private residence in Amagansett, New York. Well, all we can really say is that Hilaria looks pretty hot and as for Alec, well, guess he’s doing well too. With 30 Rock back for a seventh and final season along with the syndication rights, looks like Hilaria won’t have to worry about cutting back on her shopping sprees after the show’s run ends next year. The seventh season of NBC’s 30 Rock premieres on October 4th.

Camilla Luddington, best-known for starring as Kate Middleton in Lifetime’s William & Kate, but now better known for her topless role in Showtime’s Californication and having been cast in HBO’s True Blood and reportedly cast for a recurring role on ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy partied at Chateau Nightclub & Gardens at Paris Las Vegas. She also dined at Sugar Factory American Brasserie. Camilla couldn’t give away much about her role on Grey’s but we can assure you that since it’s on network TV it won’t compare to her role on Californication; we’d like to see her do that show a little more than some hospital drama.

We’re pretty sure Anne Hathaway & her staff worked overtime in properly vetting her latest boyfriend Adam Shulman before she decided to move forward w/ the engagement simply b/c she got royally screwed by her previous lover. You guys remember that dude? Anne’s last boyfriend Raffaello Follieri turned out to be a total fraud after it was discovered he was funneling millions into phony nonprofits & posing as the Vatican’s point man on real estate investing in order to bring in millions from rich donors around the country. Ultimately he was convicted of fraud & sentenced to jail for 4.5 years in October, 2008. He should be out of jail sometime early next year, but don’t expect to be seeing his ass at Anne’s upcoming wedding!

As for these latest photos of Anne & her latest man, these were snapped over the weekend as the duo took a romantic stroll with their dog Esmeralda in Brooklyn. Their walk took them through Brooklyn Bridge Park with a scenic view of downtown Manhattan in the background.
