We’re pretty sure Anne Hathaway & her staff worked overtime in properly vetting her latest boyfriend Adam Shulman before she decided to move forward w/ the engagement simply b/c she got royally screwed by her previous lover. You guys remember that dude? Anne’s last boyfriend Raffaello Follieri turned out to be a total fraud after it was discovered he was funneling millions into phony nonprofits & posing as the Vatican’s point man on real estate investing in order to bring in millions from rich donors around the country. Ultimately he was convicted of fraud & sentenced to jail for 4.5 years in October, 2008. He should be out of jail sometime early next year, but don’t expect to be seeing his ass at Anne’s upcoming wedding!
As for these latest photos of Anne & her latest man, these were snapped over the weekend as the duo took a romantic stroll with their dog Esmeralda in Brooklyn. Their walk took them through Brooklyn Bridge Park with a scenic view of downtown Manhattan in the background.
