“Stewart, who was not present in L.A.’s Staple Center to introduce the trailer, was mentioned in host Kevin Hart’s opening monologue, where he called her breakup with Pattinson the “elephant in the room.”[THR]
And then there were two. Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner showed up at the Video Music Awards last night to unveil the latest (and hopefully last) trailer for Twilight: Breaking Dawn – Part 2. There was no Kristen Stewart on stage, who is apparently still roaming the barren corners of girlfriend-caught-cheating-land, but there were plenty of mentions about her throughout, which Pattinson didn’t seem to mind. At one point, host Kevin Hart even said, “Everybody is mad at Kristen Stewart for making a mistake. OK, she allegedly messed around with the director of Snow White and the Huntsman. She did? So what? It’s over. Move on. Here’s the bright side: I know part of the seven dwarves — there’s sleepy, grumpy, adultery, cheating. … She made a mistake. So what?”
I guess it was a joke.
