Can you blame Ethan Hawke for appearing tired & depressed? After all he’s in a movie starring Selena Gomez & Ashley Tisdale, so that can’t feel too good, right? Following a quick look at the film’s IMDb listing, Ash isn’t listed as a member of the cast, but we’re gonna assume she was a recent addition since she bothered to fly out to Atlanta to appear on set. With regards to the film, which hits theaters sometime in 2013, here’s some plot action:
Brent Magna, a burned out race car driver, is thrust into a do-or-die mission behind the wheel when his wife is kidnapped. With Brent’s only ally – a young hacker – his one hope of saving his wife is to follow the orders of the mysterious voice who’s watching his every move through cameras mounted on the car Brent’s driving. As for Selena Gomez, is she just signing her name any project that crosses her desk?! The up & coming former Disney star has a total of seven projects listed for release in 2012 & 2013, so let’s hope she has smart people around her helping choose the right films.
And finally, many congrats to Ashley Tisdale for finally landing what appears to be a decent gig! Granted she’s filthy rich from all the “High School Musical” money, but I’m sure you start to feel a little depressed watching all your actress friends land big films while you sit on the sidelines working on yet another straight-to-DVD Disney flick.
