A million nerd hearts were broken this weekend when the transgenerational romance between veteran character actor David Cross and cute redhead Amber Tamblyn was officially sanctioned by the government. The couple, who share an age difference of 19 years, announced their engagement last August and were wed over the weekend in an undisclosed location. And lest you think we’re overly fixated on the whole age difference thing between these two, we’d like to extend our congratulations to the happy couple. We always knew that Tobias and Joan of Arcadia deserved so much better in real life than they ever got on television.

Ok...so I assume you are probably about 30 or so Moe. Got a hot 10 year old picked out do you?! I know it sounds ridiculous and that is my point. But yeah like I said, maybe it will work. But you shouldn't try to make contact with the 10 year old...just sayin' (lol)

Not being judgy. I am sure that there is a spark between them that led to this union. They deserve a shot at happiness and it might work. However, whenever I seriously imagine dating or marrying someone nearly 20 years younger than myself, I always start humming the Steely Dan song "Hey Nineteen". WTF do you talk about? Current events yes but Cross is already old enough to start reminiscing. How do you do that with someone that could be your daughter?

David Cross had one of the best characters on television! Can't wait for the Arrested Development when it kicks off again in January!
