Cloud Atlas is the upcoming film adapted from the 2004 novel of the same name by David Mitchell. Billed as the most expensive independent film of all time, the $100 million budget was funded only $20 million by Warner Bros. with the rest of the money raised from independent sources. The film stars Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Jim Broadbent, and Hugo Weaving, amongst others and after having premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival is set for wide-release on October 26th.
