We’re guessing you were at least mildly curious to see what Lindsay Lohan is like on screen in her much ballyhooed comeback Liz & Dick which premiered last night on Lifetime to (how shall we put this?) generally less than complimentary reviews. Some, like The Hollywood Reporter described the movie as “half train wreck, half “SNL” skit”, while others cheering for her return were somewhat less harsh. Repeat: somewhat.
Destined to be a camp classic, Liz & Dick features some truly unforgettable moments drawn from the real life love story of Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton, and which we assume many diehard fans will never forgive the movie for attempting to reenact.
