The big announcement by Facebook earlier this afternoon was a new feature that they’re calling Search Graph, which will now allow users to waste time looking for personalized answers using data within their social graph. Here’s a selection of sample searches (some provided at the PR event):
“Music liked by people who like Mitt Romney.”
“Languages my friends speak.”
“Movies my friends like.”
“TV shows watched by adult film stars.”
“Coffee shop hit by Laguna Beach surfers.”
“Who are my friends who live in S.F.?”
Essentially, there are four main areas for Search Graph: photos, people, interests and places.
So, who’s gonna use this bad boy?
