As you guys know, J.T. is making a music comeback with his second studio album “The 20/20 Experience,” which is set for release on March 19. Earlier this month, he dropped his first single “Suit & Tie” featuring Jay-Z, and first impressions from most people I talked to wasn’t exactly positive, but then a few days later I heard the same people singing the lyrics.
Considering Jay-Z’s track record never backing losers, I’m pretty sure Justin will go on to sell millions & win countless awards. Believe it or not, but the accolades are already flowing in. As per Entertainment Weekly, the single “notched the highest first-week total radio plays in the 20-year history of Billboard’s Pop Songs chart.” More specifically, “It racked up 6,045 plays between Jan. 14 and 20, landing at No. 14 on the chart and breaking two records: it’s the highest debut for a male artist (beating out Jon Secada’s “If You Go” from 1994, if you can believe it) and it tops Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” in first-week plays by almost 2,000 spins.”
These latest photos were snapped yesterday afternoon on the set of the new music video for ‘Suit & Tie’ in Los Angeles. J.T. & Jay-Z were laughing it up as the pair looked like pimps in their tuxes while walking back to the trailers.
