Al Pacino in a role where he doesn’t play a bloodthirsty Italian?!? What?!! Yes, and it looks good.
Coming soon to an HDTV near you is HBO’s Phil Spector, a movie made by David Mamet about the trials and tribulations of Hollywood’s most insane music producer (yes, you’ve been out-douched, Simon Cowell). Spector is played by Al Pacino and Helen Mirren joins him in the cast as his defense attorney Linda Kennedy Baden.
The movie premieres March 24 at 9 PM on HBO.
