As for Ashley Hinshaw, she’s a 24-year-old former Abercrombie model-turned actress. Sadly, her biggest role to date was playing the role of one of Miley Cyrus’s best friends in the 2010 film ‘LOL’, which unfortunately didn’t fare all that well at the box-office or anywhere else, for that matter. No harm done considering Ashely’s still very young…
The ‘Grown Ups 2‘ NYC premiere was held earlier this week (July 10) at the AMC Loews Lincoln Square. The film hit theaters today, so if you you need a pick-me-up via some cheap laughs, don’t miss this one!
Here’s some plot action:
Three years after the events of Grown Ups, Lenny Feder has relocated his family back to the small town where he and his friends grew up. This time around, the grown ups are the ones learning lessons from their kids on a day notoriously full of surprises, the last day of school.

When HBO’s ‘The Newsroom’ first went on air, the biggest buzz around it wasn’t the actually show or cast, but the fact that the show was created by Aaron Sorkin. Considering HBO coughed up dough for a second season, it might be worth checking out. Any of you bastards watch it, by chance?
The only attendee who caught our attention from the season two premiere party held earlier this week (July 10) was Cherie Daly. She might just be a good enough reason to start watching, but as a big fan of ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’, ‘Shameless’ & ‘Entourage’, I seriously doubt the show is my cup of tea.
And, I know this goes without saying, but how disappointing does Olivia Munn look? You’d think she would’ve realized by now why she’s on the show…
Not too many celebs show love to Puma, so it’s nice to see actress Julianne Hough decked out Puma workout gear. The ‘Safe Haven’ star was spotted going for a relaxing job earlier this week.
So, who’s gonna be the lucky Hollywood bigwig to get a piece of Julianne? I say Hollywood bigwig because I just can’t see her dating any good looking Joe Shmoe actor b/c that’ll be a huge downgrade from a lifestyle standpoint, so it’ll be interesting to see who she runs with in the coming months. George Clooney is one name that comes to mind only because he likes hot white chicks, but I feel like he likes his ladies tall & thin, but I’m sure even Georgie can make an exception…
I know previously we brown-bagged Lauren Stoner as she headed back home after doing some shopping at a Banana Republic. The fact that Lauren’s rocking a bikini during this latest outing in Miami Beach, I feel like all the attention will be on her body anyway, so the brown bag seems somewhat unnecessary.
Members of the Official Miami Sugar Daddy Community better get their act together and make a move on Lauren before it’s too late. A bikini body like this deserves luxury shopping trips to Monaco as opposed to a Banana Republic store at the local mall.
These were snapped on the set of a Bvlgari photoshoot yesterday afternoon somewhere in Italy (assuming it’s Milan).
Aside from being the current face of Karl Lagerfeld, GAP in Japan, Dior Beauty and Emporio Armani, Lithuanian model Edita Vilkeviciute also did work for brands like Rag & Bone, Victoria’s Secret, Louis Vuitton and as of 2012 she is the model for Calvin Klein’s new fragrance ‘Eternity Aqua for Her’.
“Saving Mr. Banks is set for release on Dec. 25; the film could give Hanks a sixth Oscar nomination.”[HuffPo]
We’re only in mid-July but the Oscar race seems to be heating up already. Much is abuzz over Tom Hanks’s lead performance in Disney’s Saving Mr. Banks, which retells the story of how the classic Mary Poppins came to be. Though the film isn’t scheduled to release until Christmas Day, Hollywood is wondering if this performance just might be the one to win the third Oscar for the man who made Forrest Gump and Philadelphia so utterly watchable.
Hanks plays the legendary Walt Disney in the film, so the odds are already in his favor.
Writer-director Scott Cooper brings the tale of a blue collar steel mill worker (Bale) who goes to find his brother (Casey Affleck) after he goes missing in a crime ring. Woody Harrelson, Forest Whitaker, Zoe Saldana, Sam Shepard and Willem Dafoe also star.
The pop diva debuted the video to her latest single, “Ooh La La”, in which she appears alongside the little blue troublemakers, notably Smurfette. The song is typical Spears-ish Top 40 pop and it’s message is simple: even if you aren’t rich, beautiful, or famous, Britney Spears still thinks your smurfy!
And if you don’t like it, well, you can always go smurf yourself. Smurf.
At this point in 2013, I have but two regular assumptions to make about people who voluntarily venture to see an Adam Sandler movie: either they are actual 12 and 13 year old mall rats or they simply don’t mind throwing away their hard earned money in the hopes of bolstering the American economy. Their sanity and artistic sensibilities be damned.
So yes. Grown Ups 2 is the disaster you expect it to be. It’s as lame and dumb and numbskulled a movie as can be imagined. If you saw the original (which made hundreds of millions at the box office, by the way) then you know that the story is about four middle aged men that have been friends since high school reuniting to . . . tell bra and fart jokes to each other. This is when they aren’t complaining about their wives – who happen to be Salma Hayek, Maria Bello, and Maya Rudolph. (Aside: please bring me one heterosexual male who would complain about being married to these women. Please do.)
So here’s to hoping this proves the final disaster in Adam Sandler’s long string of laugh-free comedies. He can still act (sort of): just not in an ‘Adam Sandler Movie”.
