Not a complete surprise when you consider all the Oscar-nominated films that make up Jessica Chastain‘s glowing Hollywood career. The film, which hits theaters on November 22, has other heavy-hitting names behind it such as Aaron Sorkin, Idris Elba, Kevin Costner and Michael Cera. Believe it or not, but this will be Oscar-winning screenwriter Aaron Sorkin’s directorial debut film. Here’s more about the film:
Molly Bloom (Chastain), a beautiful, young, Olympic-class skier who ran the world’s most exclusive high-stakes poker game for a decade before being arrested in the middle of the night by 17 FBI agents wielding automatic weapons. Her players included Hollywood royalty, sports stars, business titans and finally, unbeknownst to her, the Russian mob. Her only ally was her criminal defense lawyer Charlie Jaffey (Elba), who learned that there was much more to Molly than the tabloids led us to believe. Source
Just in case you missed it, Bill Hader did what appears to be a near-perfect Anthony Scaramucci impersonation on SNL’s ‘Weekend Update’ last night. It’s the first of four Thursday episodes titled “Weekend Update: Summer Edition” and featured the return of SNL alum Bill Hader.
For those of you suffering from political-bullshit-fatigue and don’t know Anthony Scaramucci, he’s a former White House communications director whose brief, 11-day tenure included a vulgarity-laced interview with The New Yorker in which he sarcastically stated, “I’m not Steve Bannon, I’m not trying to suck my own cock. I’m not trying to build my own brand off the fucking strength of the president. I’m here to serve the country.”

After battling through her share of personal issues mainly fueled by her fame, Selena Gomez is doing her best to refocus on her acting career. She got a little derailed for a few years after leaving Disney with a squeaky clean image. The 25-year-old actress and singer decided to spice up her image by starring alongside Vanessa Hudgens in the horndogg-community-hit film “Spring Breakers” and trying to maintain a stable relationship with Super Man-Whore Justin Bieber. I think it’s safe to say that Selena’s latter decision was the source of much anguish from a mental health standpoint.
Long story short, judging by the fact that she wants to star in a Woody Allen film, it seems like she’s in some sort of re-discovery phase and showing a renewed commitment to her film career as opposed to strictly listening to her agent and following the money. Hey, money is a great thing, but at the end of the day, peace of mind is priceless. I think Selena would agree.
As for the still-untitled project, it will be the third film that Woody Allen will direct for Amazon Studios following “Cafe Society” and the upcoming “Wonder Wheel.” Just like all the director’s previous films, we don’t know much about the story mainly because Woody Allen probably writes everything down and still uses one of those retro-looking Nokia phones. We should note that Selena’s costars include Timothée Chalamet and Elle Fanning.
While we continue to wrestle with our photo agency issues, we’ll leave you guys with some older pics of Selena previously featured on the site!

As we say each time we make posts featuring Gigi, Bella or any number of social media-fueled models, we live in a time far different than that of Cindy Crawford, Gisele or even more recent models like Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio. These days it’s not just about how beautiful or unique you look, but rather your success in the industry weighs heavily on the number of followers you have on various social media services. While we wait for the laws of regression to take effect, hope you guys enjoy these photos of Gigi Hadid rocking a pair of bright red pants and matching shoes as she exits MILK studios following a shoot.
