Actress Emma Roberts was seen working her simple style while visiting a friend in Venice Beach yesterday afternoon. The 25-year-old niece of actress Julia Roberts just returned to LA after spending the earlier part of the week in New York to attend the MET Gala. Unfortunately we didn’t post any pics of Emma from the event, but I’m sure she’s all over the net.
Let’s face it, Megan Fox & Brian Austin Green did the seemingly impossible—they publicly revealed their intentions to get a divorce & then months later backtracked on those intentions. Apparently the couple backtracked straight into Megan’s bedroom and now she’s pregnant with her third child!
Wow, congrats to them both & congrats especially to the kids who’ll get to enjoy the company of both mom & dad under the same roof. With divorce rates floating high up there in the 50% range (and probably much higher if you’re a celebrity living in Los Angeles), I think it’s safe to say that it’s going to be an uphill battle for both Megan & B.A.G. as they move forward, so we wish them all the best. Marriage isn’t easy.
While Elsa Hosk was busy with a Victoria’s Secret shoot in Malibu, Alessandra Ambrosio was on the set of photo shoot on the beach for her ‘Ale’ by Alessandra fragrance. More recently, the sexy 35-year-old model has turned her attention to her own post-VS career, which is already looking like a very lucrative endeavor.
During the shoot, Ale suffered multiple wardrobe malfunctions during what the papz bills as a “secret photo shoot,” but I gotta admit—and not that we mind—it looked a little staged to me. Hey, we all know that wardrobe malfunctions create a lot of buzz & when you’re in the biz of selling your image, you can use all the buzz you can get! Go Ale!

Everyone noticed it already and I feel like some of you even posted photos to back up your assertions, but I think it was fairly obvious that Adriana Lima kept it very simple on the red carpet at the MET Gala this past Monday—especially if you compare her style choices at events just days leading up to the event. We figured we’d use that as an excuse to look back at the events we missed while on vacation last week. For comparison sake, here’s what Adriana looked like at the MET Gala:
Miranda Kerr takes her son Flynn out for lunch at the Ollo Restaurant in Malibu. Due to laws against posting photos of minors without the consent from their celebrity parents, we had to crop her son out of the photos. Unlike a lot of other celebs who live in L.A., Miranda has chosen to shield her son from the papz, although the papz continue to take photos of him when he’s out with his Aussie supermodel mommy.
We can’t say definitively, but Elsa Hosk appears to be doing a shoot for an upcoming Victoria’s Secret catalogue. The VS Angel struck provocative poses while holding onto a pair of ring swings on set in Malibu.
I hope you guys like Elsa because it’s looking like she’s becoming one of the company’s go-to models, with names like Candice & real old-schoolers like Adriana & Alessandra taking up other projects.

Yup, believe it or not, but Gaga is still alive! While her style is a little annoying, I’m taking comfort in the fact that it’s not shock & awe annoying like it was before. The pop star was all smiles while stepping out of her apartment in NYC yesterday afternoon. She stopped to greet fans and a sign a few autographs before heading to her promotional appointments!
Jessica Alba, one of Hollywood’s hardest working moms, paid a visit to a friend’s house in Beverly Hills yesterday afternoon carrying a couple gift bags. You gotta love Jessica! She’s always working her marketing mojo, even when making casual visits!
As a public service, we’ve taken pride in our reporting on celebs doing things that other blogs shamelessly overlook or consider irrelevant or, God forbid, “not important enough to report,” so here’s another post in that spirit. We’ve said this before, but it’s always worth repeating! When comes to celebs walking up & down curbs, through grassy lawns, pumping premium gas or filling parking meters, we’ve got you guys covered—basically, anything happening in the world that falls close to the bottom of any reasonable person’s must-know priority list is what we aspire to post on these pages each and every weekday (only between 9AM & 5PM PST, except major holidays or when we’re too lazy to work following major holidays).
The always-beautiful Kate Beckinsale was in attendance at the premiere of her new romantic comedy “Love & Friendship” held at The DGA Theatre in Los Angeles. The film, which also stars Chloë Sevigny, Xavier Samuel and Stephen Fry, is directed & produced by Whit Stillman and based on the short novel “Lady Susan” by Jane Austen. Here’s more about the story:
Set in the 1790s, the widowed Lady Susan Vernon seeks refuge with her in-laws as rumors about her private life circulate through society. While staying at the estate, Lady Susan decides to find herself and her daughter, Frederica, a husband.
The promotional announcement by Little, Brown and Company for the novelization supplemented the summary to Stillman’s adaptation stating; “Recently widowed, Lady Susan arrives, unannounced, at her brother-in-law’s estate to wait out colorful rumors about her dalliances circulating through polite society. While there, she becomes determined to secure a new husband for herself, and one for her reluctant debutante daughter, Frederica, too. As Lady Susan embarks on a controversial relationship with a married man, seduction, deception, broken hearts, and gossip all ensue. With a pitch-perfect Austenian sensibility, Stillman breathes new life into Austen’s work, making it his own by adding original narration from a character comically loyal to the story’s fiendishly manipulative heroine, Lady Susan.” Source
