This shocks me every time I see it, but Jennifer Lopez‘s crime-drama series “Shades of Blue” is still on TV! It’s actually in its second season and a few days ago NBC renewed for a third season! I guess it helps a little that the show is co-produced by Jennifer and Ryan Seacrest. J-Lo was on hand at the 2017 NBCUniversal Summer Press Day held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel yesterday along with a number of other celebs including Jenna Dewan, Amber Stevens West and Dorothy Wang. We have photos of the latter two ladies directly below.
Along with the “Iron Fist” lead actress Jessica Henwick, co-stars Rosario Dawson and Jessica Stroup were also on hand to celebrate the Netflix’s latest series at a special screening held earlier in the week at the AMC Empire 25 in NYC’s Times Square. The series was developed for Netflix by former “Dexter” writer Scott Buck, so I’m already kind of looking forward to it.
Unfortunately for the team behind the effort, the reviews are anything but positive. Just look at the titles of a couple review articles: The Independent had Iron Fist episode 1 to 6 review: Marvel and Netlfix’s first dud and USA Today ran with ‘Iron Fist’ is Netflix’s first Marvel super-fail.
Here’s more about the series, followed by the trailer:
Danny Rand returns to New York City, after being presumed dead for 15 years, to reclaim his family company. When a threat emerges, Rand must choose between his family’s legacy and his duties as the Iron Fist. Wiki
After going through those treacherous years with Tom Cruise, you’d think Katie Holmes would be recognizably overweight and well into her hasbeen-years, but obviously that’s not the case! The seemingly ageless actress was at the screening of her new miniseries “The Kennedys: After Camelot” alongside co-star Matthew Perry, who plays the role of Ted Kennedy. The series, which is expected to contain four episodes, will begin airing on April 2. For more info, hit the official website >>>

To celebrate the season finale of one of its hottest TV series, NBC threw a big party and screened the finale of “This is Us” at DGA theatre in Beverly Hills.
All the show’s popular cast members were hand to celebrate. All you die-hard fans of the show will be delighted to read that the show got renewed for another two seasons—a whopping 36 more tear-jerking episodes. This goes without saying, but go ahead and purchase those twenty boxes of Kleenex from Costco because you’ll definitely run through them over the next year.
For those of you who missed the series, make sure you stream it through NBC for a limited time.
Once again, we have 28-year-old actress Melissa Benoist was all miles as she worked her mojo in full costume on the set of ‘Supergirl’ in Vancouver last night. The recently-separated beauty from Texas has played the lead on the show for two seasons—first on CBS and then later on The CW after the show relocated to the network during its second season. Visit the show’s official website for videos and showtimes.
For those interested seeing more pics of Melissa, make sure you follow her on Instagram. Here’s one of her recent posts that you’re either going to love or hate—all depending on what you think about Donald Trump:
Watch a trailer for ‘Supergirl’:
Get ready to see plenty of Vanessa Hudgens over the next couple weeks as she moves to promote her hilarious new NBC series “Powerless.” As expected, the actress is currently making the rounds in NYC chatting up her new show, which premieres later this week on Thursday, February 2nd at 8:30/7:30c. With that said, here’s a clip of Vanessa’s appearance on “Today” earlier this morning:
Here’s a first look clip from the show’s website:
Recently she sat down with the always-hilarious James Corden, who undoubtedly has one of the funniest gigs on late-night TV (my personal is HBO’s weekly show “Last Week Tonight With John Oliver”).
For those who want more, you can watch a clip of the interview below:
For those of you who might have missed the headline, Vanessa Hudgens will star in NBC’s upcoming new action comedy series “Powerless,” which is set to premiere on February 2. Interestingly enough, the show will take place in the DC Universe and follow the many adventures of Emily Locke (played by Vanessa), who, believe it or not, works “as Director of Research & Development at Wayne Security, a subsidiary of Wayne Enterprises, that specializes in products for ordinary humans who are poised to be victims of the battles between superheroes and supervillians (Source).” We’re really pulling for Vanessa on this one because it seems like it will be a winner! Check out the new trailer for the show:
Along with Vanessa, we’re also including a few other fashionable favorites from yesterday’s NBC Universal Press Tour held at the Langham Huntington Hotel in Pasadena.
Sure these are coming about 12 hours late, but at least we’re not flooding the site every attendee who walked the red carpet at last night’s 43rd People’s Choice Awards. The award show was hosted by the always hilarious Joel McHale and held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Performances were a little disappointing with only Fifth Harmony (wait, are these guys performing at tomorrow’s Inauguration?) and Blake Shelton (he should be performing at tomorrow’s Inauguration). Anyway, for a complete list of the winners, check here. And, if we missed any other winners on the red carpet, please post those photos in the comments!!
We don’t want to comment everyone, but Victoria Justice was definitely a heavy favorite off the red carpet last night. Why can’t this chick score more roles!?! Victoria needs to prove herself by getting a role on HBO’s “Westworld,” damn it!! For those interested, here’s Victoria in motion while on the red carpet:
