Alison Brie absolutely killed it at the London premiere of “How To Be Single” held at the Vue Cinemas in West End (Leicester Square) in London. While Dakota Johnson also looked great, I think it’s fairly obvious that Alison Brie was on another level of sexiness at the premiere.
The film is based on the novel of the same name by Liz Tuccillo. It stars Dakota Johnson, Rebel Wilson, Alison Brie, and Leslie Mann. Look for “How To Be Single” in theaters on February 12.
Our poll is a little tricky this time around, so choose wisely!

Here are our favorites from the 68th annual Directors Guild of America Awards held this past Saturday evening at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles. The DGAs honor the outstanding directorial achievement in feature films, documentary, and television. Not surprisingly, the big winner was once again Alejandro G. Iñárritu and his widely acclaimed film “The Revenant,” which is expected to win big at the upcoming Academy Awards at the end of this month.

Will Smith & Jada Pinkett-Smith, who’ve recently been in the news telling everyone that they’re boycotting the Academy Awards for its painful lack of diversity. Out of the 40 nominees in the actor category, there wasn’t a single nominee for a person of color. While obviously very shameful, this shouldn’t come as a total surprise. The fight will continue for years to come and it’s going to take more than passionate boycotts to change Hollywood! I think it’s safe to say that real & lasting change will be rooted what happens at the box-office.
Since Jada released her video plea a number of African-American celebs have come out in support. We should mention that Chris Rock will continue to host the event, so now I think I’ll tune in just to listen to all the jokes! Chris Rock is at his finest when he’s doing race-related jokes!

Aside from Alison Brie in an earlier post, here are a few of our other favorite ladies from last night’s big NYC premiere of ‘How To Be Single’ held at the Skirball Center. The film, which hits theaters this next weekend (Feb. 12), also stars Dakota Johnson, Rebel Wilson, Alison Brie, and Leslie Mann. Check the plot & trailer below:
New York City is full of lonely hearts seeking the right match, and what Alice, Robin, Lucy, Meg, Tom and David all have in common is the need to learn how to be single in a world filled with ever-evolving definitions of love. Source
We’ve probably done similar posts over the past 10 years, but you’d think Leslie Mann would’ve figured out how to avoid making awkward faces on the red carpet by now. These photos were snapped at the premiere of Leslie’s latest film “How To Be Single,” which hits theaters on February 12.
For those interested, here’s an interview with Leslie in which she discusses her new film:
Believe it or not, but ‘Pride And Prejudice And Zombies’ is an upcoming comedy-horror flick based on the 2009 novel of the same name by Seth Grahame-Smith that parodies the famous Jane Austen novel.
The film, which stars Lily James, Sam Riley, Jack Huston, Bella Heathcote, Douglas Booth, Matt Smith, Charles Dance and Lena Headey, will hit theaters this weekend. The big red carpet premiere was held earlier today at the Vue West End, Leicester Square in London. For those looking for more info, check the plot & trailer below:
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies is a fresh twist on Jane Austen’s widely celebrated novel. A mysterious plague has fallen upon 19th century Britain, the land is overrun with the undead and feisty heroine Elizabeth Bennet is a master of martial arts and weaponry. Casting aside personal pride and social prejudices, Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy must unite on the blood-soaked battlefield to rid the country of the zombie menace and discover their true love for one another. There weren’t any big surprises last night with respect to winners, so it looks like Leo will go on to win the Academy Award—unless of course he suffers a major snub. Aside for Leo winning for Revenant, Best Actress went to Brie Larson in “Room”. Idris Elba (“Beasts of No Nation”) and Alicia Vikander (“The Danish Girl”) won in the best supporting actors category. And finally, the film “Spotlight” won for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture. For those of you looking for the complete list of winners, check here.

Natalie Portman took a break from motherhood and attended a screening for her directorial debut film “A Tale Of Love And Darkness” at the closing night of the New York Jewish Film Festival. The screening was held at the Walter Reade Theater in NYC.
The film, which began shooting in Jerusalem back in 2014, is based on autobiographical novel by Israeli author Amos Oz. The book first released in 2002 only in Hebrew, but since then it has been translated into 28 languages! The 34-year-old actress will even star in the film as Oz’s mother.
Here’s more about the plot:
Oz chronicles his childhood in Jerusalem at the end of the British Mandate for Palestine and the early years of the State of Israel, and his teenage years on Kibbutz Hulda. As a child, he crossed paths with prominent figures in Israeli society, among them Shmuel Yosef Agnon, Shaul Tchernichovsky, and David Ben-Gurion. One of his teachers was the Israeli poet Zelda. Joseph Klausner was his great-uncle. Told in a non-linear fashion, Oz’s story is interwoven with tales of his family’s Eastern European roots. The family’s name was Klausner. By changing the name to a Hebrew one, Oz rebelled against that European background while affirming loyalty to the land of his birth.
I kind of like these polls with a group of ladies we don’t really know or follow, so it should be easier to set aside our biases and rate them slightly more objectively (at least that’s our assumption).
These photos were snapped last night at the National Television Awards in London. You can view all the winners here.
The long-awaited “Kung Fu Panda 3” premiere went down over the weekend at The TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood with none other than A-listers Angelina Jolie and Jack Black walking the red carpet. Not sure how many of you guys have kids, but I gotta admit, this one of the more entertaining animated series that I don’t mind sitting through over and over (and over) again. Monsters Inc has to be at the top followed by Kung Fu Panda, Up, Toy Story and Shrek rounding out the top five.
Anyway, what’s up with Angie wanting to show off her chicken legs?! I think it’s about time she either cover those up or starting eat a burger for lunch for the next six months. Aside from the toothpick legs, her face looks absolutely stunning! Props the surgeons who are keeping things tight & wrinkle-free.
