First of all, I’m not the biggest fan of comic book films, so maybe that’s why I’m scratching my head about this movie. Also, when you think about actor Paul Rudd, “superhero” is absolutely the last word that comes to mind, but hey, maybe some of you fans can shed some light on all this.
Is Hollywood out of ideas or is this simply another case of bigwig suits green-lighting a film in hopes to get lucky at the box-office? I guess people tend to take on questionable/riskier projects when millions of dollars are sitting inside bank accounts losing value due to near-zero interest rates.
‘Ant-Man’ will hit theaters on July 17.
Here’s more about the film:
Several months after the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron, thief Scott Lang must aid his mentor and former hero Dr. Hank Pym in safeguarding the mystery of the Ant-Man technology – which allows its user to decrease in size but increase in strength – from various new threats, and plot a heist that will save the Earth. Supermodel Cara Delevingne continues her promotional tour for her new film “Paper Towns” in Berlin, Germany with her co-star Nat Wolff. Everyone knows that Cara’s one of the freakiest models in the biz, so let’s hope this dude is enjoying her on the road!
Taking place in Orlando, Florida, Quentin “Q” Jacobsen (Nat Wolff) lives next door to Margo Roth Spiegelman (Cara Delevingne), his childhood friend from whom he has since drifted, but still has feelings for. So when she one day climbs through his window and summons him on an all-night road trip of revenge, he cannot help but follow her lead. The next day, however, Margo doesn’t come to school, and after a few days it becomes apparent she is missing. Q soon learns that there are clues in her disappearance that seem meant for him to make sense of. But as he gets deeper into the mystery and discovers more about the person Margo actually is, he becomes less sure of who and what he is looking for.

First of all, it sucks that we don’t get to see Maria Menounos working these pages as often as she used to when she was still on ‘Extra.’ We can all thank Mario Lopez and his dimples for getting Maria booted from the show (probably because she refused to bang him on the side). If only more dudes watched the show, the producers wouldn’t have given into Mario so easily.
Getting back to the film at hand, we should mention that aside from the cute minions, Sandra Bullock is the main star of the latest film in the ‘Despicable Me’ series. This film is supposed to be a prequel/spin-off. Sandra portrays Scarlet Overkill, who is apparently “a stylish and ambitious villain determined– to dominate the world and become the first female super-villain.” (Wiki)
The big premiere event was held earlier today at the Odeon Leicester Square in London.

And, here’s the final “Jurassic World” post (for today) from the film’s big premiere held last night at The Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
The latest film in the series, which officially hits theaters this Friday, stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Vincent D’Onofrio, Ty Simpkins, Nick Robinson, Omar Sy, B. D. Wong, and Irrfan Khan. For those interested, here’s the plot:
Twenty-two years after the events of Jurassic Park, Isla Nublar, an island located off Central America’s Pacific Coast near Costa Rica, now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, as originally envisioned by John Hammond. This new park is owned by Simon Masrani (Irrfan Khan), CEO of the Masrani Corporation. Owen Grady (Chris Pratt), a member of the park’s on-site staff, is a trainer of a group of Velociraptors, known as Blue, Charlie, Delta and Echo. [Read more…]

Pictured: Irina Shayk, Adriana Lima and Doutzen Kroes
I thought the ladies looked amazing at the Chopard party over the weekend, but it seems like that event was merely a laid back practice run for Adriana Lima & Irina Shayk. The ladies hit the red carpet for yesterday’s star-studded “Sicario” premiere. The film is directed by Denis Villeneuve and stars Emily Blunt, Benicio del Toro, Josh Brolin and Jon Bernthal. Officially, it’s been selected to compete for the coveted Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival.
With respect to the photos, I think it’s fairly obvious Adriana Lima & Irina Shayk are making the normally extremely sexy Doutzen Kroes appear somewhat bland and boring. Since we have tremendous amount of respect for Doutzen, we’ll still include her in our poll directly below:

Battling with an army of fame-hungry chicks in their 20s trying to get noticed with in their finest stripper dresses, old-schoolers were more than ready for the challenge.
Unfortunately when you’re battling with age at the same time, the red carpet strategy boils down to flaunting your one or two (if you’re lucky) redeeming features so that attention is kept off your least flattering feature (typically the face).
With that said, let’s meet the members of the Over 40 Club limping down the red carpet in their priceless stilettos. First up is 47-year-old Celine Dion, who opted to show off her legs & possibly other things from other camera angles. Mariah, who turned 45 back in March, was rocking some big shades while at the same time motorboating the papz. And finally, we have the seemingly ageless 45-year-old Jennifer Lopez (thanks to the help of L.A. & Miami-based plastic surgeons) killing the red carpet as she has done for the past 35 years!
We already know Zendaya, so here’s more about Dencia:
Reprudencia N. Sonkey (born 26 March 1988), professionally known under the stage name Dencia, is a Cameroonian-Nigerian singer, model, actress, philanthropist, and entrepreneur. She has been described as “a cross between Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj”. She is known for her hits “Beri Beri”, “Super Girl”, “Me & U”, and “True Love”. Dencia is the creator of the highly controversial skin lightening product Whitenicious, as well as the CEO of the company marketing the line of products. Wiki
As promised in our earlier post featuring Charlize, here’s the beautiful actress on the red carpet at the big “Mad Max: Fury Road” premiere during the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival. We have no idea how it happened, but Sean Penn showed up! He’s obviously playing his cards well when it comes to managing his relationship with Charlize.
Don’t forget, the film hits starting tomorrow, so make sure you check it out!
