Supermodel Karlie Kloss was on the “Today” set earlier this morning to discuss the latest in her continuing efforts to teach young girls to code! She’s apparently taking a little time off the runway to launch a summer camp aimed to teach coding to young girls with interests in the technology field. Believe it or not, but Karlie learned to code a few years ago and this inspired her to pass on, what she refers to as a “superpower” skill to teen girls. You can watch a clip of Karlie’s interview w/ Savannah Guthrie below:
While obviously on the atrocious end of the fashion spectrum, I guess this is what women are forced to wear when they’re in the mood to flex their feminist muscles. We can all thank Hilary Clinton and “Lean In” author & chief operating officer of Facebook Sheryl Sandberg for the trend.
These were snapped last night as actress & hardworking mother Blake Lively arrived at Variety’s Power Of Women event held at Cipriani in NYC’s Midtown. You can browse through more photos at Variety >>>

Let’s just say that if you are anyone in the fashion business, you probably attended the supermodel-packed Harper’s BAZAAR 150th Anniversary party held last night at the famous Rainbow Room—all 65 stories above the Rockefeller Center. One notable attendee worth commenting is obviously 18-year-old Sailor Brinkley-Cook, the daughter of 63-year-old former three-time S.I. Swimsuit cover girl Christie Brinkley. Aside from Sailor’s questionable name, I think it’s safe to say that good genes go a really long way!
Here’s an interview done by Kate Upton with fellow models Hailey Clauson, Aly Raisman and Sailor Brinkley Cook ahead of the 2017 S.I. Swimsuit Issue release a couple months ago.
It’ll take more than a few posts and magazine covers to start getting guys to find meatier women more attractive, but I have to admit, Ashley Graham is a great start! Plus, she has a great personality (at least, in her various interviews) and that never hurts, right? Give your thoughts on Ashley below.
These photos were snapped yesterday afternoon during a shoot for Harper’s Bazaar UK in NYC’s Central Park.
Here are a few more favorites from the big “Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2” premiere held last night at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood. A big shout-out to Elodie Yung and Allison Holker for rocking the see-thru dresses on the red carpet because we seldom see celebs taking risks on the red carpet these days! Anyway, here’s more about the film, followed by the trailer:
Set two-to-three months after the first film, the Guardians of the Galaxy travel throughout the cosmos and struggle to keep their new-found family together, while helping Peter Quill learn more about his true parentage and stopping an enemy who threatens to destroy the entire galaxy.[Source]
We can’t fault Rihanna for wearing whatever she’s wearing because we’re going to assume she was told she had to wear this outfit for promotional purposes at the pop-up store. For those of you who don’t know, Fenty, the name of Rihanna’s fashion line, is the singer’s actual last name.
You can flip through the complete line on Puma’s website. Let’s just say, the items aren’t exactly suitable for everyone out there. Here’s RiRi discussing her latest collection, which debuted earlier this year at Paris Fashion Week:
Among all the shows she appeared on over the past couple days, Anne Hathaway made a brief pit stop at ABC’s “Popcorn With Peter Travers” and revealed her somewhat implicit bias against female directors. Here’s more:
When asked by host Peter Travers on Tuesday if there was any movie she learned the most from, she said 2011’s “One Day” opposite Jim Sturgess. In that film, she admits, she didn’t give all she could to director Lone Scherfig and she believes it’s because she was a woman.
“I really regret not trusting her more easily,” she said. “And I am to this day scared that the reason I didn’t trust her the way I trust some of the other directors I work with is because she’s a woman.”
“I’m so scared that I treated her with internalized misogyny,” she continued about the film and its director. “I’m scared that I didn’t give her everything that she needed or … I was resisting her on some level. It’s something that I’ve thought a lot about in terms of when I get scripts to be directed by women.” Source
Was Anne’s “internalized misogyny” or a massive “internalized” inferiority complex? I guess that’s up for debate, but the fact that Anne admits to having this flaw is a big step for someone like her. Here’s a clip of the interview:
And on a funnier note, here’s Anne singing a Google translated version of one of Weeknd’s songs during her recent appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s show:
Oh wow, what’s happening with Bella Thorne these days? It seems like she’s going through some sort of major metamorphosis over the past year. Who knows, maybe she’s reading too much into all those comments she must get on Snapchat after posting countless provocative photos of herself working out and partying. Bella cleaned things up a bit ahead of a promotional tour for her new series “Famous in Love,” which premieres today on the Freeform network. The drama series is based on the book of the same name and written by Rebecca Serle.
Here’s some plot info:
Paige Townsen, an ordinary college student, gets her big break after auditioning for the starring role in a Hollywood blockbuster. She must now navigate her new star-studded life and undeniable chemistry with her two co-leads while uncovering the truth about what happened to a famous missing pop star. Source
I know I’ve taken more than my share of shots at Ashley Benson in the past, but she was looking great as she made a promotional appearance on “Good Morning America” earlier today. The actresses appeared on the show to discuss the final season of their long-running series. The second half of the finale season kicks off tonight at 8PM on the Freeform network. Check out a clip of the interview below:
I don’t know, guys. Taking an 8-year-old girl to Coachella seems a little premature, but hey, it’s a style of fearless parenting that might pay off a few years down the road when Alessandra Ambrosio’s daughter Anja is going by herself or with a boyfriend. From that standpoint, it’s definitely smart of Ale to teach her daughter the ins & outs of a music festival which is known more for its skimpy clothes than for its music.
These photos were snapped during day 3 of the first Coachella’s first weekend. Accompanying Ale & Anja were a few of Ale’s supermodel friends including fellow Brazilian Ana Beatriz Barros.
