WOW! So we’ve got to give photographer James Macari a “lucky bastard” distinction for his work with Nina Agdal on the 2013 SI Swimsuit Issue. On top of the sexy photos of Nina that made the cut for the SI Swimsuit Issue, James had a few more special shots to share with the world. We applaud you James because DAYUMN Nina looks un-freaking-belivably SMOKIN’ HOT in these photos. You sir, are truly a lucky bastard!!

You gotta hand it to Sports Illustrated to keep it coming with more offering from the supermodels of the 2013 Swimsuit Issue. A couple days back they put up this Natural Wonders post featuring a few of our favorite SI Swimsuit Models butt-naked. Yeah, that’s is all. Visit SI Swim Daily everyday to see what other tricks they got up their sleeve following the release of the 2013 SI Swimsuit Issue.
Kate Bock took 41% of all votes & I feel like she kept a huge lead through the entire voting process, so many congrats to her. Surprisingly, all the rookies were very strong this year around, so to be honest, I would’ve been happy with any of the ladies. You can check out Kate’s S.I. Swimsuit layout, as well as the video below. I gotta admit, I wasn’t completely sold on Kate until I watched this video…
No disrespect to Kate Bock (who leads at 40%), Hannah Davis, or Natasha Barnard but how is Emily DiDonato picking up the rear of the voting with 15% (at the time of typing this post)? According to our unofficial poll for who’ll win Rookie of the Year, Emily has over 48% of the vote while Kate Bock brings up the rear. Alright folks, Emily needs your support so hit up SI.com/rookies to cast your vote!!

The 2013 SI Swimsuit Issue supermodels were almost out in full force last night (where you at Irina?!?) driving dudes wild on The Strip in Las Vegas as they hit up 1 Oak Nightclub in The Mirage to host “Club SI Swimsuit”. Yes, all your favorites were there including Katherine Webb who once again killed it on the red carpet. But in addition to 1 Oak, later on in the night, Genevieve, Emily, and Kate Bock stayed out even later to host a VVIP After Party at The Bank Nightclub in The Bellagio (hence why we didn’t bother posting their red carpet appearances at 1 Oak). Be sure to check out all our borderline-creepy coverage of the 2013 SI Swimsuit Issue and remember to cast your vote (in our non-official poll) for who you think should be 2013 SI Swimsuit Rookie of the Year! …and our Favorite Body Paint Model poll too!!

I’ll be honest, I don’t know exactly where Sports Illustrated plans to go, but in order to keep things interesting at future events, S.I. should consider the possibility of auctioning off their swimsuit models for a weekend to famous sugar daddies where, of course, all the money raised would go to various charities around the globe. It’s for a good cause, damn it!! Just think about it, some dude could be cruising around in his frickin’ yacht in Miami with Nina Agdal or one of the rookies! I’m pretty sure S.I. could easily raise a few million & possibly even create long-lasting relationships. Again, it’s all for a good cause!!

These were snapped last night at the annual SI Swimsuit on Location event held at the Marquee Nightclub at The Cosmopolitan. Remember guys, aside from voting here on this site, make sure you head to SI & vote for your favorite rookie since that’s the official. I just voted (around 5PM EST) and Kate Bock appears to be running away with it. See the results below:
In her red carpet interview last year’s Rookie of the Year Nina Agdal revealed that it took a total 14 hours to get her body painted. I’m pretty sure body painting isn’t something she’ll want to do for the 2014 issue.
I know we’ve said this on countless occasions, a S.I. Swimsuit Body Paint Artist job has to be one of best jobs on the planet, right? Well, on second thought, I think it might be one of the most painful gigs on the planet. Just think about it: You gotta spend countless hours painting a naked swimsuit model’s body without giving off a creepy vibe, so we’re gonna assume one of pre-reqs of the job is definitely “gay male or straight female candidates only” b/c which straight dude in his right mind can last for 14 hours sitting inches away from a naked bikini model’s body?! Needless to say, we gotta get our hands on one of these artists so that we can interview them.
Anyway, Nina sounded like she was having a blast at Sports Illustrated’s big launch party in Vegas last night. Here’s a clip of her red carpet interview w/ Julie Henderson:
