As expected TV’s sexiest grandma Sofia Vergara looked stunning in a torquoise gown by designer Zuhair Murad. In the midst of all the excitement resulting from “Modern Family” winning award after award at last night’s 64th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, the Colombian bombshell’s dress ripped in the back, revealing her thong & ass cheek. Sofia was accompanied by around 20 family & friends at the award show, so let’s hope she got things patched up quickly before too many people noticed. As for the photo, major props to the bastard who had the presence of mind to snap a photo while Sofia got things stitched up! OW!
The 64th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards went down last night with an underwhelming showcase of red carpet beauty & glamour. Favorite moments had to be Jimmy Kimmel as the host, Kat Dennings hitting the stage to present her rack to the masses at home & I particularly enjoyed the few seconds Ricky Gervais appeared on stage to present his award. His humor isn’t for everyone, but he always manages to steal a laugh from me.
Once again, ABC’s “Modern Family” ran away with a boat load of awards, so congrats to the lucky cast & crew for their continued success. Let’s face it, we could all use a some of that successful series cash! It’s a pity they’re getting screwed on their paycheck b/c even though they’re now getting paid $175K per episode (up from $65K last year), I still think they should’ve fought for more. Doesn’t CBS make upwards of a billion from the series?! $175K is seriously chump change.
Anyway, see all the nominees & winners here.

For those of you bastards who follow these red carpet events, you’ll know that Christina Hendricks is a staple on the Hottest Low-Cut Dress list, but she had some thirst quenching competition on the Emmys red carpet! Say hello to Zooey Deschanel (“New Girl”), Kat Dennings (“2 Broke Girls”) & Morena Baccarin (“Homeland”). I’m all the ladies, but I feel like Kat Dennings wins this red carpet showdown.
Sarlet J. Mendel is the genius designer behind Kat’s dress, so major props to her. Other designers: Zooey’s wearing Reem Acra, Christina’s stuffed inside a Christian Siriano-designed dress, & lastly, the sultry Morena is wearing Basil Soda.
So are you folks getting tired of this overload of coverage from the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards? Well, we can’t promise that this is our last post but here are a few of the leftovers from red carpet. Also, we’re not going to bore you with a repeat of winners, nominees, etc… if you want that, head over the Wiki for a full list of winners and for more info, visit Emmy.com.

Following a brief hiatus after doing “Heroes,” the multi-talented Hayden Panettiere is back at the TV series game once again, but this time starring in a musical drama. The new ABC series “Nashville” is written by Academy Award winner Callie Khouri (Best Screenplay: Thelma & Louise) and produced & directed by R. J. Cutler (The War Room, The September Issue). ABC bought the pilot & series earlier this spring, so let’s see if Hayden can hit the jackpot in a few weeks when the series premieres on October 10.
Here’s more juice:
The series stars Connie Britton as Rayna James, a legendary country music superstar, whose star begins fading. Her producers offer her a joint tour with the up-and-comer Juliette Barnes (Hayden Panettiere), the young and sexy future of country music. But both singers are pursuing their goals. Juliette wants to take the place of Rayna. Rayna thinks that a few songs written by talented author Scarlett O’Connor (Clare Bowen) will help to revive her success. Rayna’s father is Lamar Hampton (Powers Boothe), a powerful politician in Nashville, who forced her to marry Teddy Conrad (Eric Close), who lives on her money. Source
As expected, the Emmys red carpet fashion wasn’t exactly something worth screaming about from a hotness standpoint (thank goodness for all the after parties!), but we did notice that a handful of celebrities favored bright yellow when choosing their respective dresses. Although flashy, I gotta admit, this option is definitely more exciting than the usual nudes, blacks, & greys.

Julianna Margulies, Ellen DeGeneres & Portia de Rossi have every right to screw up, but it’s kinda difficult to make excuses for Leslie Mann after considering all the Judd Apatow cash she has stashed away in countless bank accounts around the globe. If you don’t have any sense of style, just cough up top dollar & let somebody do it for you!
As for the others, Portia de Rossi needs to re-channel the hotness level she had going while on “Arrested Development” b/c it’s fairly obvious that becoming Ellen DeGeneres’s scissor buddy has taken an obvious toll on her sense of style. Was her ultimate goal w/ the outfit to look as unappealing as possible or what? Let’s just hope she didn’t pay a stylist to help her get ready for the Emmys.
And finally, Julianna Margulies looks like she wrapped herself in leftover wallpaper from the 70s or 80s or maybe it’s just my personal distaste for floral printed gowns. I definitely think Julianna’s money can go much further.
We were thinking hard whether to stuff Maria Menounos into our low-cut top post, but unfortunately Maria didn’t make the cut. If you simply compare her to the four ladies who did make the cut, you’ll know exactly where we’re coming from. The sexy entertainment news correspondent took time out of her busy work schedule to strike a few poses for the cameras.

There are ladies who opt for a more daring path on the red carpet, while others simply play it safe & end up wasting a perfectly great opportunity to sell themselves to the countless masses–fans & newbies. The ladies we’ve featured in this set off last night’s red carpet at the Emmys fall into the unfortunate category of bland & boring when it came to their red carpet appearance. Whatever the case, you guys be the ultimate judge…
Even though this dress has been around for ages, Angelina Jolie officially popularized at the Oscars earlier this year. The dress became so popular that Angelina Jolie’s right leg even has its own Twitter page. Since then, countless women have rocked similar style dresses at nearly every event over the past 6/7 months, so with that in hand, here’s our matchup of two ladies whose legs stood out to us on the red carpet at last night’s Emmy Awards. When voting, keep in mind that Heidi Klum just hit 39 in June & Alexandra is 30.
