So the event to be at last night was the 2013 Miss Golden Globe Awards hosted by the HFPA and InStyle at Cecconi’s restaurant in West Hollywood. However, the actual honoree of “Miss Golden Globe” didn’t make this megapost of attendees. Francesca Fisher-Eastwood was named Miss Golden Globe 2013. It’s traditionally the child of a famous person that wins the honor. Basically her job will be to escort the winners on and off the stage at the Golden Globe Awards next January. Beverly Hills: Fashionable Ladies @ ELLE’s “Women in Hollywood” Celebration

ELLE’s 19th Annual Women in Hollywood Celebration was held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills last night. Yeah, as you can see, a lot of ladies attended the event and this isn’t even everyone; we figured to cap our over-coverage at 20 attendees. Pretty much the only dude in attendance was Robert Pattinson who was there to give an award to Uma Thurman. Beverly Hills: ESSENCE Black Women In Hollywood Luncheon

The ESSENCE Black Women In Hollywood Luncheon took place yesterday at the Beverly Hills Hote. Honorees included Paula Patton, Kerry Washington, Octavia Spencer, Pam Grier, and Shonda Rimes. Other attendees included Octavia Spencer, Viola Davis, and Jordin Sparks. Says Constance White, Essence Editor-in-Chief:

“The luncheon exists to provide a fitting tribute to the brilliant talent and accomplishments of African-American trailblazers like Kerry, Pam, Paula, Octavia, and Shonda, and celebrate their collective work as an inspiration for generations to come.” [Source]

NYC: Fashionable Celebrities @ National Board of Review Awards (NBR)

The 2012 award season officially starts with this weekend’s Golden Globe Awards, but the sideshow is pretty much in full swing. The National Board of Review of Motion Pictures held its annual awards show last night at the Cipriani 42nd Street hall. Many A-listers made time for the event and most gave a very promising showing from a fashion standpoint as they practiced striking poses for flashing cameras ahead of bigger award shows in the coming weeks.

With regards to the awards doled out, George Clooney won for Best Actor (“The Descendants”), Tilta Swinton bagged “Best Actress” honors (“We Need to Talk About Kevin”) and Martin Scorsese scored another “Best Director” honor for his work on “Hugo.” You can view the full list of winners on the NBR website.

As the official sponsors of the event, Audi got to show off the new A8 by having all guests arrive in their new luxury flagship sedan while jewelry designer Martin Katz provided some of the attendees like Zoe Saldana, Maria Menounos, Julie Bowen and Anne Heche with some of his latest, most-coveted pieces.
