Fashionable Red Carpet: “A Night Of Firsts” Golden Globes Kick-Off Party

Dania Ramirez & Emmy Rossum are by far my favorites of the bunch, but as always, I have my freaky biases. The ladies enjoyed delicious food & drinks at the celeb-hotspot Cecconi’s in West Hollywood courtesy of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) & InStyle magazine. “A Night Of Firsts” was a star-studded party used to kick off the upcoming award season & announce the beautiful new Miss Golden Globe, Rainey Qualley (actress Andie MacDowell’s daughter).

Chosen by the HFPA, Miss Golden Globe is traditionally the child of a well-known celebrity and assists during the Golden Globe Awards ceremony (and hooks up with sugar daddy actors, producers or directors following the event). The 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards will air LIVE coast-to-coast on Sunday, January 15, 2012 on NBC from 5:00-8:00 p.m. (PST)/8:00-11:00 p.m. (EST) from the Beverly Hilton Hotel with host Ricky Gervais.

“J. Edgar” Premiere: Leonardo DiCaprio, Armie Hammer & Eastwood Daughters

Just in case some of you bastards missed it, hit the other set of pics from last night’s big premiere at the AFI Festival opening night gala held at famous Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.

While Leo bagged the lead role as J. Edgar, Arnie Hammer, the dude who played the twins in The Social Network, plays Clyde Tolson. Look for it in select theaters on November 9th and worldwide on November 11th. For more info, visit the J. Edgar official website.

The film will focus on the career of FBI director J. Edgar Hoover from the Palmer Raids onwards, including an examination of his private life as an alleged closeted homosexual. [Wiki]
