Aubrey Plaza needs some solo-feature post love and we appreciated the way she looked in that white dress from last night’s Broadcast Television Journalists Association’s (BTJA) 3rd Annual Critics’ Choice Television Awards. As she continues her role as April Ludgate on NBC’s Parks and Recreation, Aubrey has several films in the works for this year including The To Do List, which also stars Rachel Bilson and McLovin. If you recall, it’s the film she was plugging on her chest when she rushed the stage at the MTV Movie Awards when Will Ferrell received his award. Anyway, the film opens July 26th but also you’ll hear Aubrey’s voice in the upcoming Monsters University film where she voiced the role of Clare Wheeler.

We’ve included all the notable attendees in the gallery—even some who’ll make you go, “WTF?! Why would anybody pay for these photos?!.” Don’t forget to hit the gallery & leave your thoughts!

Anyway, the 2012 Do Something Awards will air on VH1 Tuesday, August 21, so make sure you bastards tune in. In the meantime, here’s more juice about the award show for those of you guys who don’t know anything:

Formerly called the BR!CK Awards, the awards culminated in 1996 to recognize young people under the age of 25 who have done outstanding work in their communities and the world. The Do Something Awards include both young people involved in activism and individuals from the entertainment industry who have dedicated their time to activism and charity. The top 5 Do Something Awards receive a $10,000 community grant, while the grand prize winner receives a $100,000 grant to push its community projects forward. The Awards were broadcast for the first time in 2007. In 2011, the Do Something Awards was hosted by Jane Lynch at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, California, and was broadcast on Vh1.[11] The list of performers include Demi Lovato, Foster the People, OneRepublic featuring B.o.B. and many other celebrities such as Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Adam Lambert, Kristen Bell, Nick Cannon, David Beckham and Kim Kardashian.
