The 55th Annual GRAMMY Awards mPowering Action took place last night at The Conga Room. The event featured performances by Timbaland and Avicii leading up to the Grammy Awards Show tomorrow night. As we’ve note previously, with all these Pre-Grammy events we’re just going to provide the vitals to remind you to watch the show as it airs live on CBS.
The 2013 Grammy Awards will air live on CBS on Sunday, February 10th, at 8pm. The show will be hosted by LL Cool J (James Todd Smith) with Dan Auerbach, Fun, Jay-Z, Mumford & Sons, Frank Ocean, and Kanye West leading the way with six nominations each. Performers will include Kelly Clarkson, Alicia Keys, Maroon 5, Miranda Lambert, The Black Keys, Elton John, Justin Timbelake, and yes, even Taylor Swift. Check out the full list of nominees and for more info, visit the Grammy official website.
Lost up in the drafts was the 2nd Annual Inspiration Women Awards to Benefit The Susan G. Komen For The Cure held at Royce Hall at UCLA in Westwood, California. Well, given that we’re a few days late in reporting this is there really anything we can say? So yeah, it was an award show and we don’t know who got recognized but all in all this was to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer, and that in itself is pretty important to note.
These were the ladies who hit the red carpet for a short film screening and cocktail party for Recipe: How To Mend A Broken Heart and Just Three Words held at The W Hotel in Hollywood. Recipe: How To Mend A Broken Heart stars Danielle De Luca and as IMDb writes its tagline is “A woman uses an unusual method to fix her recently broken heart.” In Just Three Words, this film stars college students sharing one thing they’ve learned in college using only three words. Sunset Strip The Movie is the upcoming documentary that features the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood. The film made its world premiere at SXSW and last night had its L.A. premiere with the after party at Lure Nightclub Hollywood. We have no idea when this’ll be released but you can follow-up on the film at the Sunset Strip The Movie official website.
The newfound married bliss of Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) and vampire Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) is cut short when a series of betrayals and misfortunes threatens to destroy their world. After their wedding, Bella and Edward travel to Rio de Janeiro for their honeymoon, where they finally consummate their marriage. Bella soon discovers she is pregnant, and during a nearly fatal childbirth, Edward finally fulfills her wish to become immortal. Another video game launch so therefore another party inviting a bunch of people who don’t play video games. We’ll just hit up the Wiki entry to get info on the game; probably more info than any of the attendees cared to learn about when attending. We’re guessing rather than an appearance fee, these ladies just needed the free publicity. Look for “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim” in stores on November 11th. Visit the “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim” official website for more info.
Skyrim’s main story revolves around the player character’s efforts to defeat the nordic dragon god Alduin who is prophesied to destroy the world. Set two hundred years after Oblivion, the game takes place in the land of Skyrim in the midst of a civil war after the assassination of the high king. The open world gameplay of the Elder Scrolls series is continued in Skyrim, as the player character can explore the land at will and ignore or postpone the main quest indefinitely. [Wiki]
So the remake of Footloose is about to release and we over here really don’t have much to say about it since I’m sure next to no one on this site will go out and watch it. So the facts: it stars Kenny Wormald, Julianne Hough, Dennis Quaid, and Andie MacDowell and like the Kevin Bacon original, dancing has been banned and the kids won’t go for that. If you need to mark it in your calenders, the movie opens in theaters on October 14th. Visit the Footloose official website for more info.
Briana Evigan hasn’t been in really anything for a while and since it’s Friday and it’s going to be a slow day, we figured to give you all someone different to maybe comment about today. As for Briana, considering the last meaningful project she did was Sorority Row, in which it also starred Audrina Patridge, she needs something new to get her back on track.
Up next for Briana is Halloween III, yes another remake. She stars as Jade and that’s pretty much all we know. Look for it in 2012, so that means we probably won’t have another post of Briana until next year too.

Following “stepping stone” films like “Step Up 2: The Streets” and “Sorority Row,” 24-year old Briana Evigan has all but disappeared from mainstream projects. IMDb is listing a few projects currently in production that are set to drop soon, but they look more like straight-to-DVD affairs than full-on theatrical releases.
Also, don’t forget to hit the “Justin Bieber: Never Say Never” official website. The documentary chronicling Justin Bieber’s rise to stardom is produced by Usher, so I’m sure he’s making up some of the money he lost w/ the Cavs when LeBron busted out to South Beach. Here’s the trailer:
Briana Evigan will star in the remake of Mother’s Day set for release early 2011. The remake will star Rebecca De Mornay as The Mother and also appearing are Jaime King, Alexa Vega, and Sara Paxton.
But enough about her, let’s plug Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood instead, which was officially released in North America yesterday; Australia and the EU later this week.
The game is a direct sequel to Assassin’s Creed II, with Ezio Auditore da Firenze and Desmond Miles returning as the main protagonists, and it takes place right after the conclusion of the previous game’s story. It is the first game in the main series to feature a multiplayer mode.Wiki
These were snapped earlier this week at El Captain Theater in Hollywood.
For those of you who don’t remember, Briana Evigan was the lead in the last installment “Step Up 2: The Streets.” On the red carpet for “Step Up 3D,” the crowd was treated with a far meatier Briana, which is always a positive development in our opinion.
Remember everyone, don’t forget to hit the front page and click over the official website! We’d appreciate your help very much! And of course, don’t forget to go watch the film when it hits theaters this weekend! OW!
