This is to compliment our two earlier posts featuring photos from the 2016 MTV Movie Awards over the weekend. The annual movie awards catering to a younger MTV-watching audience (wait, kids still watch MTV?!) was held at Warner Bros Studios in Burbank on Saturday evening & broadcast on Sunday night. This was the first time the network opted against a live broadcast.
The big winners were “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” for Movie of the Year, Leo for “The Revenant” and Charlize for “Mad Max: Fury Road”. For a complete list of the “winners,” check here.
Brittany Snow and Jamie Chung headlined as Live Love Spa launch their Splash event. The cast of Pitch Perfect (Hana Mae Lee not pictured), minus Anna Kendrick, attended the 2013 Teen Choice Awards Press Room held at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles. The film and its cast took home four awards last night including Choice Movie: Comedy, Choice Movie Actor and Actress: Comedy (Skylar Austin and Rebel Wilson), and Choice Movie Villain (Adam DeVine). Hosted by Lucy Hale and Darren Criss, performers included One Direction, Florida Georgia Line featuring Nelly, Paramore, and Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas. Check out the complete list of winners. The world premiere of the Lifetime Original Movie Event Call Me Crazy: A Five Film was held at The Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood. Jennifer Aniston served as an executive producer in this compilation of five short films that center on the topic of mental illness. The five short films are named after each character, Lucy, Eddie, Allison, Grace and Maggie, played by Brittany Snow, Mitch Rouse, Sofia Vassilieva, Sarah Hyland, Jennifer Hudson, respectively. The cast of Pitch Perfect minus leading lady Anna Kendrick all attended the 2013 MTV Movie Awards to pick up their award for Best Musical Moment for their performance of Blackstreet’s “No Diggity”. In addition, Rebel Wilson took home the award for Breakthrough Performance while nailing the hosting gig. Hosted by Rebel Wilson (who won Breakthrough Performance and Best Musical Moment with the cast of Pitch Perfect), the 2013 MTV Movie Awards took place at The Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City. The Dark Knight Rises, Silver Linings Playbook, Ted, and Django Unchained each led the way with seven nominations a piece. The Avengers took home Best Movie in addition to Best Villian and Best Fight but it was Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper who took home Best Actress and Best Actor along with Best Kiss. The 2013 Film Independent Spirit Awards held at The Santa Monica Beach last night. Hosted by Andy Samberg, the 28th installment of the event saw Silver Linings Playbook as the big winner, taking home four awards including Best Feature, Best Director, Best Screenplay, and Best Female Lead in Jennifer Lawrence. This is the second batch of photos in our two-part series from last night’s GQ Men of the Year party held at Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood. From a hotness standpoint, I gotta say that the first batch is a little better, but Diane Kruger, Krista B Allen, Hannah Simone & Jessica Pare aren’t exactly ugly ducklings by any means.
As we stated before, since the event was put on to spotlight MEN of the year, we’ll try to feature some of the sugar daddies in attendance later in the afternoon, so keep an eye out for that post.
