Las Vegas: Cassie @ “King of Hearts” Party at LAVO Nightclub

Cassie hosted her “King of Hearts” party at LAVO nightclub inside The Palazzo Resort in Las Vegas over the weekend. “King of Hearts” is the long-awaited forgotten second album for Cassie which is scheduled to be released in September meaning that it still could get delayed another year, nothing would surprise us. The lead single “King of Hearts” was released back in February with the second single confirmed to be “Money on Love” featuring Nicki Minaj. She’s also got in the works a new mixtape entitled “Rock-A-Bye Baby”.

Cannes Film Festival: Red Carpet Attendees @ ‘Killing Them Softly’ Premiere

As expected, director Andrew Dominik’s crime drama “Killing Them Softly” starring Brad Pitt had a star-packed red carpet premiere at the 65th Cannes Film Festival (Tues., May 22). You can read more about the film in our earlier post featuring Brad Pitt & co-stars at a photocall held Tuesday morning.

With respect to the premiere, Irina Shayk was by far the hottest one cat-walk down the red carpet. The person missing in all the action was Angelina Jolie! What’s up with that?! Last year when Brad’s highly anticipated “Tree of Life” premiered at Cannes, Angie was there by his side (see pics here).

Tennis phenom Novak Djokovic was at the premiere with his girlfriend Jelena Ristic. Look for them to hit a couple more events later in the week before Novak heads to Paris for the French Open.

Cannes Film Festival: Fashionable Attendees @ Chopard’s Mystere Party

Another night, another glamorous party. That’s the way it goes for the rich, beautiful and famous who’re enjoying the high life that comes deliciously packed with Cannes & the French Riviera. As the week rolls on more & more celebrities should trickle in for the big events scheduled for later in the week.

The Mystere Party, thrown by Swiss-based jeweler Chopard, included a long list of attendees (mostly B & C-listers). Alec Baldwin & Diddy were the only ones who could possibly qualify as A-Listers, but even that’s a stretch.

Notable mentions on the red carpet were Lady Victoria Hervey, who decided to rock a sheer dress in hopes to get the cameras flashing in her direction. Also, there was Kelly Brook, who apparently got a proposal by a deep-pocked sugar daddy to spend the night with him for $1 million. For all we know, she declined (in public) and then probably blew him for $500K–JUST KIDDING!!

Cannes Film Festival: Ladies Who Attended The Haiti Gala

In addition to all the movie premieres and photocalls, the celebrities came out in support of Sean Penn’s efforst of raising money for Haiti. In total it was estimated that $2 million was raised with tables going for up to $100,000 each (with tickets starting at $5,000) at this “Carnival in Cannes Gala for Haitian Relief”. Also it was reported that three people paid $100,000 each in auction to accompany Sean Penn to Haiti on a three-day trip. [Source]

Paris Fashion Week: Kanye West’s Ready To Wear Fashion Show

Kim Kardashian declared Kanye West a “genius” at his Ready-To-Wear Fashion Show in Paris where he unveiled all the things that are synonymous with his name: leather, fur, thigh high boots and, of course, style. Many celebrities, including Kardashian, Alicia Keys and Rosario Dawson, were in attendance. Kardashian naturally donned the most attention-grabbing outfit that (to be perfectly honest) reminded us of the abominable snowman . . . not that she doesn’t look warm. Dawson, on the other hand, stayed classy and chic in a simple white dress.
