The Glamour Women of the Year Awards 2013 were held in London. Honored at the event was Victoria “Posh Spice” Beckham as the Woman of the Decade who was accompanied by her son Brooklyn. Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) was awarded Man of the Year, giving a shout out to Kanye West who was the previous recipient of the award. Behind the Candelabra is the upcoming HBO film directed by Steven Soderbergh starring Michael Douglas and Matt Damon. The film is about pianist Liberace (played by Douglas) and the secret affair he had with young Scott Thorson (played by Damon). The premiere took place during the 66th Annual Cannes Film Festival and will premiere on HBO on May 26th. She’s been a Victoria’s Secret Angel since 2010 but doesn’t seem to get as many gigs as some of the other ladies. Blake Lively wasn’t the only lady to attend the 12-12-12 Concert Benefitting the victims of Hurricane Sandy at Madison Square Garden in New York City. As we’ve already states, the concert featured Bon Jovi, Eric Clapton, Dave Grohl, Billy Joel, Alicia Keys, Chris Martin, The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, Eddie Vedder, Roger Waters, Kanye West, The Who, and Paul McCartney. With ticket prices ranging from $150 to $2,500, the sold out concert as being shown on 37 television stations in the United States and more than 200 others worldwide. It was to be streamed on 30 websites, including YouTube and Yahoo, and played on radio stations. Theaters, including 27 in the New York region and dozens more elsewhere, were showing it live. Chanel Iman attended the Keep A Child Alive’s Black Ball 2012 in New York City. Hosted by Whoopi Goldberg, the benefit honored Oprah Winfrey and Angelique Kidjo at Harlem’s Apollo Theater. It also featured performances from Alicia Keys, Jennifer Hudson, Angelique Kidjo and Bonnie Raitt with special guest Brittany How. Last night the God’s Love We Deliver 2012 Golden Heart Awards Celebration was held at the Cunard Building in New York City. God’s Love We Deliver (God’s Love) is the New York-based non-profit organization that cooks and delivers individually tailored meals daily to people living with severe illnesses throughout New York City, Newark and Hudson County. Michael Kors was honored at the event for his latest donation of $5 million towards the $25 million goal the organization has for expanding their mission. Kings for Biggest Upset winning the Stanley Cup as an eighth seed in the Western Conference, and Tim Tebow’s 80-yard touchdown pass to Demaryius Thomas to beat the Pittsburgh Steelers in the NFL playoffs as the Best Moment.
