Both Katy Perry and Carly Rae Jepsen took home awards with Katy being named 2012’s Woman Of The Year.

As we continue our coverage of the 2012 MTV Movie Awards, here’s our first batch of other attendees that didn’t garner a seperate post (i.e. we’re just being lazy at this point). There’s really not much to say about these ladies since only really Nikki Reed has any relation to the winners with her contribution to The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1, winner of Best Movie. Check out a complete list of winners from last night’s 2012 MTV Movie Awards.

Valentino has been in business for 50 years and to celebrate they launched a new flagship store on Rodeo Dr. in Beverly Hills last night with a huge party attended by a lot of ladies. A lot of the attendees apparently were sporting the Valentino clutch; ladies will know what I’m talking about. Also, the event gave a preview of the 50th anniversary Valentino capsule collection, which features 50 ready-to-wear pieces inspired by Valentino Garavani’s animal prints from the sixties. Anyways, why try to write anything else because we really don’t have much to say and by the looks of it you all will have a lot of clicking to go through… [Source]

A parade of celebrities and wannabes descended upon the opening of the new flagship Valentino store on Rodeo Drive last night. Among the stars on hand were Kim Kardashian (of course), Rose McGowan, and Ciara. Kimmy donned her favorite black-and-white combo (yawn!) and Rose looked pretty as a flower in a rose pink dress. But the stunner in our books was Ciara, whose fierce blonde locks left many an onlooker gawking at the goddess as she walked by. Take that, Valentino!
26-year-old R&B singer Ciara was feeling awfully leggy yesterday afternoon as she was spotted shopping at a Barneys New York store in Beverly Hills wearing a pair of teenie-tiny shorts.
With regards to upcoming projects, Ciara has a small role in the upcoming summer comedy “That’s My Boy,” starring Adam Sandler, Andy Samberg, and Leighton Meester. The film hits theaters on June 15. Here’s some plot action:
The film follows a man (Adam Sandler) who, as a teenager, fathered a son (Andy Samberg) in high school with his teacher. Years later, the man visits his son on the eve of his son’s wedding and begins feuding with his son’s bride (Leighton Meester). [Source]

Despite Whitney Houston’s death yesterday afternoon at the Beverly Hilton, the pre-Grammy festivities rolled on—even at the very hotel the late pop superstar was found dead (inside her hotel room bathtub). Aside from the drugged-out lifestyle over the past decade, for someone to go from the armpit of America’s inner city (Newark, NJ) and call it quits inside the Beverly Hilton, that’s not too bad, right?
I gotta admit, there were some big names missing on the red carpet, but that’s completely acceptable considering the circumstances. Here’s a selection of notable attendees at last night’s pre-Grammy gala thrown by Clive Davis & the Recording Academy. The Beverly Hilton was awfully busy last night, with the fourth floor eerily buzzing with a police investigation and the hotel’s main hall in party-mode celebrating not only tonight’s Grammy Awards, but also Whitney Houston’s life & music career.

We’ll try to get pics up from the runway, but in the meantime here a few photos of those who attended the Karl Lagerfeld & Lanvin Spring/Summer 2012 Ready To Wear fashion shows held last night as part of the Paris Fashion Week.
Lea Michele & Ciara were at Karl Lagerfeld & the MoeJackson-favorites Leighton & Miranda were at Lanvin. As we mentioned earlier, Miranda, who attended the show with husband Orlando Bloom, also walked the runway for Lanvin.
It sucks that the US Open is rained out today, but it’s shaping up to be an amazing tournament with most of the top seeds in the men’s bracket still in play. It really sucks that Djokovic & Federer are both in the same half, but it’s make for a very exciting semifinal match, assuming they don’t choke in the quarters. I’m pulling for Djokovic to win the whole thing.
Anyway, considering the backdrop for the tournament is NYC and we’re slowly creeping up on the later stages of the US Open, more and more celebs are becoming visible in the stands. These latest sightings were snapped during yesterday’s Serena Williams & Ana Ivanovic match.
