Claudia Romani, model and showgirl from L’Aquila, Italy, and sportsman and designer Kevin Gleizes, life and work partners (they are founders of Kustom Companies brand), are always under the spotlight, thanks to the hectic life they lead in Miami. Photoshoots, poolside events, extreme sports, paddle boarding and so on keep them busy every day: they are now following Rimas Kinka’s adventures.
The Lithuanian sportsman in 2013 won the World Guinness record for the longest kitesurfing distance in 24 hours. As if that wasn’t enough Rimas has now decided to beat his own record, he is training to ride from Jacksonville to Key West, Florida, in a little under 3 days, spending the nights in the water too.
Claudia and Kevin will follow and document the whole adventure, starting from the training till the day he’s going to reach his goal. Rimas has told that there are several risks involved with spending the night in the open ocean, not so much because of the ever feared sharks, which are considered harmless by the die hard watermen, when non bothered, but mostly because of the huge floating debris, which are not visible in the darkness and that could damage the gear, as it has previously happened to Rimas. The episode let the sportsman decide to support a charity in order to teach school students how to keep the beach and the ocean clean.
Claudia and Kevin support the idea, having always promoted a healthy life-style and eco-friendly sport activities, such as paddle yoga on the inflatable boards, designed and produced by Kevin, sport that became a real trend in Miami. The couple will be present during Kinka’s kite ride, ready to celebrate his new success.
