We really have no idea what The South William Street VVIP Awards 2012 is but nonetheless it was an event attended by a bunch of ladies that we’ve posted on the site before so therefore we bothered to post. To note, Glenda Gilson apparently was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the event. According to this article, the VVIP Awards is a ironic take on the VIP Style Awards which was also attended by a bunch of these ladies. Anyways, nothing much else to write so just click on through.

VIP magazine’s 11th annual Style Awards took place at Dublin’s Shelbourne Hotel over the weekend. The event celebrates Ireland’s most stylish people, well, that’s the idea of the show. Amongst the honors handed out were Most Stylish Woman, Most Stylish Man, Most Stylish Couple and Newcomer Award. Most of you probably don’t know who the nominees are so there’s not much to report but the ladies who attended. Rozanna Purcell is an Irish model and Miss Universe Ireland 2010. Purcell represented Lillies Bordello in Miss Universe Ireland and won. She was flown to Colombia for two weeks of mentoring from pageant expert Miguel Martinez to prepare for Miss Universe 2010 in Las Vegas, U.S., on August 23, 2010.

Purcell competed in the swimsuit segment and placed 4th with an average score of 8.784. Purcell then competed in evening gown with a score of 8.548, finishing in 7th place. [Wiki]

the “Catwalk to Kilimanjaro” project to raise funds and awareness for the Make-A-Wish foundations. 4 of Ireland’s Top Models and TV Stars – Georgia Salpa ( Celebrity Salon ), Daniella Moyles ( Bulletin TV), Louise Johnson ( Fade Street) and Roz Purcell ( exMIss Universe Ireland, Finalist Miss Universe) are going to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. Finals of Miss Universe Ireland at the Burlington Hotel in Dublin

Aoife Hannon (age 19, Limerick) was crowned Miss Universe Ireland 2011 at the Burlington Hotel in Dublin taking the crown from 2010 winner Rozanna Purcell. Aoife will now compete in the 2011 Miss Universe competition in São Paulo, Brazil on September 12, 2011. Pippa O’Connor, Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace, Georgia Salpa, Rosanna Davison served as the judges for the competition.
