Dayana Mendoza at 2013 “Stand Up For A Cure” Event

Dayana Mendoza

Last night in New York City, the 2013 Stand Up For A Cure event took place at The Theater at Madison Square Garden. Rather than try to word it ourselves, here’s what it’s all about: “The Stand Up for a Cure Concert Series produces concerts and special events to benefit various causes and organizations that we believe are pioneering critical areas of research and treatment for various health and socially relevant issues.” Last night Jerry Seinfeld performed to benefit the American Diabetes Association. To learn move, visit the Stand Up For A Cure website.

MIAMI: Former Miss Venezuela Dayana Mendoza Did A Bikini Shoot

The beautiful Dayana Mendoza was seen workin’ her bikini body on the beach in Miami as she modeled swimwear for the 2013 Bra Smyth collection. Previously Kate Upton was the spokesmodel, so we’re guessing Kate raised her rates or the designer wanted to go in a different direction b/c let’s face it, Dayana’s & Kate’s respective bodies are on different planets.

Aside from straight modeling, the 26-year-old Miss Universe winner (2008) was featured on the latest season of Celebrity Apprentice (more info) & judged the 2012 Miss USA Pageant.

Dayana Mendoza most recently was on Celebrity Apprentice coming in sixth place. She was fired aftering being the Project Manager on the losing team for creating a jingle and presentation for Good Sam Club. She had been raising money for her charity, the Latino Commission on AIDS. If you already forgot, which you probably did, Arsenio Hall was named the winner of Celebrity Apprentice, getting hired over Clay Aiken.

So Celebrity Apprentice had their season finale, reported the lowest to date, with Arsenio Hall winning the competition of over LClay Aiken; Aubrey O’Day came in third place. Interested in catching on the season? For a limited time you can watch full episodes The Apprentice at NBC.com. For his efforts, Arsenio won $250,000 towards the Magic Johnson Foundation for AIDS and HIV research. Anyways, that’s that and I guess we’ll be waiting for next season’s finale when we mention this show again.

People En Espanol 50 Most Beautiful Gala took place last night at The Plaza Hotel New York City. Our guess is that the average reader will recognize less than half of the ladies posted given Naya Rivera and Dayana Mendoza are probably the most frequently posted (if that) of the bunch. Anyways, for those who want to read up more on the party, hit up the People En Espanol official website (in Spanish).

Celebs at “The Lucky One” Premiere in Manhattan

Celebs in Manhattan descended upon the premiere of the Lucky One last night, though the biggest name on hand was, er, Cuba Gooding, Jr. Stars Zac Efron and Taylor Schilling were not on hand, or if they were, we certainly didn’t catch them on the red carpet (word has it that neither one is particularly happy with the way the film has shaped up or has been received by critics- ouch!). We did spot Dayana Mendoza, Alex Lundqvist, and Katie Lee Joel, all of whom looked quite dapper.

LOOK! Added more photos of some of the fine ladies in attendance…

NYC: Ladies Who Attended “Crystal Light Mocktails” Launch

Having never watched an episode of Celebrity Apprentice it is to my understanding that the contestants were tasked to host a party for Crystal Light to launch their Mocktails line. Anyways, so in that episode it was Lou Ferrigno’s team that won and at last night’s event a few of the contestants showed up, including Deborah Gibson, who’s already been fired. Aubrey and Dayana are still on the show and apparently Aubrey is not well-liked. Rather than research more into that we’ll just leave it at and give a plug to Crystal Light Mocktails to end this meaningless typing.
