When you account for how quickly things move on the Internet, I think it’s safe to say that these photos are pretty much ancient (last week). These photos were snapped late last month (April 27) at We Day California 2017 held at The Forum in Inglewood.
As they do every year, a long list of young celebs were in attendance, but we’ve gone ahead and featured just our favorites for you guys. I have a feeling the poll results will be very interesting…
“Smurfs: The Lost Village” is a reboot film unrelated to Sony’s previous effort that featured Katy Perry as Smurfette. Singer Demi Lovato scooped up the lead role as Smurfette in the reboot, which hits theaters this weekend. Ariel Winter, on the other hand, will do the voice for Smurf Lily, who is described as “a gentle girl Smurf” and 23-year-old singer Meghan Trainor lends her voice for Smurf Melody.
Here’s a brief plot summary for all you “Smurfs” fans:
In Smurf Village, the Smurfs live peacefully among themselves. Their leader is the wise and elderly, if a bit overprotective Papa Smurf (Mandy Patinkin). Most of the Smurfs include the klutsy and slow-witted Clumsy Smurf (Jack McBrayer), the intellegent and eccentric Brainy Smurf (Danny Pudi), the strong and gutsy Hefty Smurf (Joe Manganiello) and the beautiful Smurfette (Demi Lovato), who feels out of place in Smurf Village as the only girl. Smurfette was created by the villainous wizard Gargamel (Rainn Wilson) but was redeemed by Papa Smurf and became part of the village. Gargamel makes it his mission to capture the Smurfs, steal all of their essence, and become the most powerful wizard in the world. Source

As expected, plenty of families showed up to the annual Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards to celebrate the best and brightest in the entertainment biz geared toward children. The awards show was hosted by WWE superstar John Cena and even featured musical acts Little Mix and rapper Machine Gun Kelly and Cuban-Mexican singer Camila Cabello busting out their hit Bad Things (Youtube).

Here are the women who got our attention on the red carpet and sadly that’s not saying much. I wish we could say the outfits were the wildest we’ve seen, but nothing beats Grammy Awards circa early-to-mid-2000s (and probably the 90s, as well, for all we know). People are overly self-conscious and hyper aware of cameras these days with photos going live to countless million social media feeds around the globe. Gone are the days of major, un-staged wardrobe malfunctions and A-listers donning over-the-top freaky outfits simply because they didn’t give a shit.
Anyway, as most of you guys know by now, Adele took home a boat load of awards last night—at least the ones that mattered. Beyonce was nominated for nine, but took home two. To Adele’s credit, it seemed like by the end of the night after she would win a Grammy, she would awkwardly go out of her way to kiss Queen Bey’s ass just for the sake of kissing her ass. Beyonce, of course, stood in the front teary-eyed and absorbed all the praises being showered upon her.

Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas are on their “Future Now” tour. In a most recent performance at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, the two brought Jamie Foxx to the stage as a guest performer. We recently saw Demi showing off her bikini body in Miami working on her tan.
Demi Lovato shows off her bikini body while enjoying a day by the pool with friends in Miami. Demi was taking a break from her Future Now Tour which she is co-headlining with Nick Jonas. Demi recently debuted her new single “Body Say” on the opening night of the tour in Atlanta, the single officially comes out July 1.

This will pretty much complete our slow coverage of the MET Costume Institute Gala. I’m sure we missed a lot of gems, so we’ll run through various sets once again later this evening and have a final post. The glamorous gala comes only once a year, so it’s worth spending a little extra time on it.
With respect to the ladies in this post, I have to say that Taylor Swift was a major disappointment. I can’t tell if she was playing it really safe or if she was shooting for a more mature look? Selena should’ve just stayed home because her dress looked like something you could buy at Macy’s. Alicia Vikander proved that she’ll look cute & sexy in anything, while Demi Lovato was wrapped a gilded frame around herself. And finally, Emma Watson could do much better considering her daring looks on the red carpet.
We ran out of time yesterday, so we only posted photos of Selena Gomez at We Day California. Here are a few of our other favorites in attendance. Olivia Holt is obviously killing it, but I gotta say, she’s dressed totally inappropriately for the event. Even Bea Miller is looking way too sexy, although I’m sure you guys don’t mind.
As we noted yesterday “WE Day is a celebration of youth making a difference in their local and global communities. WE Schools is the yearlong program that nurtures compassion in young people and gives them the tools to create transformational social change. Together they offer young people the tools and the inspiration to take social action, empower others and transform lives—including their own.” (Source: We Day)

There were a number of other ladies in attendance who caught our eye, so make sure you guys let your eyes carefully crawl through the photos before choosing your favorite three (yes, we decided to be overly generous with the poll).
The 3rd annual award show was held last night at The Forum in Los Angeles and hosted by singer Jason Derulo. There were a wide array of performances by big names like Maroon 5, The Weeknd, Pitbull, Jason Derulo, Iggy Azalea and even J-Beebs! You can find all the performances on YouTube and check all the winners here. For those of you who don’t have time to sit through the full show, watch the quick video recap directly below:

A long list of fashionable ladies came dressed to impress to Stella McCartney’s Autumn, 2016 showcase at Amoeba Music in Los Angeles yesterday. I’m sure we’ll be seeing these looks on various red carpet events later in the year. Don’t forget to choose your favorite in the poll below…
