Without a doubt, last night’s hottest event was the 19th Annual amfAR New York Gala held at the Cipriani Wall Street in NYC ahead of New York Fashion Week, which kicks off today. Everyone who was anybody in the fashion biz was probably at the gala.
Longtime staples Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio were joined by a long list of other high-flying models—a guest list that thankfully didn’t include any of the new breed of social media-fueled models like Kendall and the Hadid sisters.
And finally, we love Andreja Pejic just like any other open-minded person, but we’d be remiss if we failed to point out that Andreja is the first completely androgynous supermodel. We’ve posted her on a number of occasions in the past.

We were supposed to run with these yesterday, but time ran out unfortunately. As if the regular Paris Fashion Week wasn’t exclusive enough, Haute Couture Week is in full swing during which tip-top designers showcase their latest styles for uber rich. We’re talking $50K dresses, $10K shoes and bling’d-out handbags for God-knows-how-much. Some designers think Haute Couture is more art than functional clothes that you can actually wear, but I guess that’s open to interpretation.
Olga Kurylenko was definitely a standout during the arrivals at various fashion shows, but I think that’s mainly because we know its her. Thandie Newton was another person whom we liked! For those of you who haven’t seen Thandie on HBO’s “Westworld,” you need to set aside 10 hours this weekend to watch that series.
Fashion shows from which we grabbed the photos include Christian Dior, Schiaparelli, Chanel & Giorgio Armani Prive.

Apparently “The Infiltrator” premiered last month in U.S. theaters, so some of you guys might have seen it already. Judging by the cast, it seems like a no-brainer on the surface, although the box-office figures tell a completely different story. With a budget of nearly $50 million, the film only made around $16 million while in theaters. The star-studded cast includes names like Bryan Cranston, Diane Kruger, Benjamin Bratt, John Leguizamo, and Amy Ryan. Here’s more about film, as well as the trailer:
During the 1980s, U.S. Customs Service special agent Robert Mazur uses his undercover alias “Bob Musella” to become a pivotal player for drug lords cleaning their dirty cash. Later, he infiltrates the world’s largest cartel and helps discover the money-laundering organization of drug lord Pablo Escobar, and take down the Bank of Credit and Commerce International, which had secretly taken illegal ownership of First American Bank shares in Washington, D.C. In the spirit of the age-old saying, “better late than never,” we’re finally posting up our favorites from the 2016 Vanity Fair Oscar Party. If we had to choose whether to post only red carpet photos from the actual ceremony or photos from the various after-parties following the awards show, I’d obviously choose the latter.
The overall theme of the outfits can be summed up with the statement “Look, but don’t touch—unless your name is Leonardo DiCaprio.” I know a lot of chicks probably wouldn’t admit it to it, but with the amount of pre- and post-buzz surrounding that guy’s Best Actor Academy Award, he could’ve seriously gone home with any number of women last night. We’re pretty sure he didn’t follow through, but we’re about 110% sure some of his close friends cleaned up with all the chicks who had lofty aspirations of texting all their friends the sentence, “I had sex with Leo the night he won the Oscar for Best Actor.”
As expected, a long list of celebrities & socialites were in attendance to watch the Chanel Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2016 fashion show which went down earlier today as part of the Haute Couture Paris Fashion Week going on right now in the world’s most fashionable city.

Diane Kruger accidentally flashed her underwear at the “Disorder” photocall during the Cannes Film Festival. Originally titled “Maryland”, “Disorder” is the second feature by Parisian writer-director Alice Winocour. Diane co-stars with Matthias Schoenaerts. The 68th Cannes Film Festival runs through May 24.
Chrissy Teigen, Behati Prinsloo, and Diane Kruger are seen arriving on the red carpet at the 72nd Annual Golden Globe Awards at The Beverly Hilton Hotel. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler served as co-hosts one final time. “Birdman” led the way with 7 nominations followed by 5 a piece for “Boyhood” and “The Imitation Game”. Diane Kruger was photographed while going for a walk in Beverly Hills. The beautiful Diane was feeling camera shy as she covered her face with a hat while walking on the sidewalk and continued trying avoiding the cameras whlie crossing the street. To think, Diane is now 37 years old! Check her out on the second season of The Bridge on FX, premiering in July.
