Global Green USA held their 11th Annual Pre-Oscar Party At Avalon in Hollywood. Global Green USA is dedicated to rebuilding communities subject to environmental degradation. The zero-waste party rose over $20,000 during the live auction following the plant-based dinner. Musician Michelle Branch modeled a Gemesis three-stone conflict-free lab grown diamond ring, which sold for $12,000. [Source]

The 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards takes place tonight at rhe Shrine Exposition Center in Los Angeles. Last night Entertainment Weekly hosted their annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Party at Chateau Marmont. Here’s just a sample of the attendees that brought out a whole bunch of Hollywood’s stars in prepration for the show that’ll air simultaneouly on TNT and TBS. Silver Linings Playbook, Lincoln, Les Miserables, and Modern Family lead the way with 4 nominations each. Dick Van Dyke will be honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award. Elisha Cuthbert, Dreama Walker, and Eliza Coupe were just some stars who made an appearance at The Paley Center for Media Presents held an evening with Happy Endings and Don’t Trust The B—- In Apartment 23 at The Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills. Happy Endings is back for a third season while Don’t Trust The B—- In Apartment 23 is back for a second season after an initial seven episode first season run. Noticably missing was Apt 23 star Krysten Ritter who had no problem hitting up the Elle “Women in Hollywood” event but didn’t show up to promote the show that she is lead. Anyways, the premieres for both ABC’s Happy Endings and Don’t Trust The B—- In Apartment 23 is scheduled for Tuesday, October 23rd. The 2012 Entertainment Weekly Pre-Emmy Party took place last night at Fig & Olive in West Hollywood. With the Primetime Emmy Awards set to take place tonight at Nokia Theaters at L.A. Live the celebrities were out and about making their rounds to various parties with some ladies changing outfits between events. NYC: Ladies Who Attended EW & ABC VIP Cocktail Party

Entertainment Weekly & ABC TV teamed up to celebrate the New York Upfronts with a VIP cocktail party at PH-D at Dream Downtown in New York City last night. On hand were a bunch of the ladies from various ABC shows including Hayden Panettiere who will star alongside Connie Britton in the upcoming series Nashville. The series was just picked up and will debut this Fall on ABC.

The series stars Connie Britton as Rayna James, a legendary country music superstar, whose star begins fading. Her producers offer her a joint tour with the up-and-comer Juliette Barnes (Hayden Panettiere), the young and sexy future of country music. But both singers are pursuing their goals. We’ve had the NBC TCA Party, CBS, CW, and Showtime TCA Party and FOX’s All-Star Party so time for the next network, ABC to promote their upcoming season.
