Behind the Candelabra is the upcoming HBO film directed by Steven Soderbergh starring Michael Douglas and Matt Damon. The film is about pianist Liberace (played by Douglas) and the secret affair he had with young Scott Thorson (played by Damon). The premiere took place during the 66th Annual Cannes Film Festival and will premiere on HBO on May 26th. The celebrities came out as the New Yorkers for Children 10th Anniversary Spring Dinner Dance was held at Mandarin Oriental Hotel in NYC. Presented by Valentino, “New Year’s in April: A Fool’s Fete” benefitted youth in foster care. With décor designed exclusively by David Stark the night featured dinner, dancing, and a silent auction. Let’s just say the ratio was pretty good, so if he didn’t get any last night then we should all just assume that he’s gay (not that there’s anything wrong with that). There’s also the slight chance that he’s extremely classy and doesn’t fuck on the first date, but that’s highly doubtful when you have women like Izabel Goulart, Erin Heatherton & Thairine Garcia presented to you a hottie platter.

It appears Paul chose Izabel Goulart as his temporary sex partner, but it’s possible he was trying to make the other girls catty in hopes get himself thrown into a drunken three/foursome where the girls take turns trying to prove to Paul that they’re the best. Obviously, the winner in all these scenarios is of course Paul Walker, so more power to him. That bastard.

Oh yeah, we should mention that he’s in Sao Paulo for the city’s seasonal Fashion Week. The ‘Fast & Furious’ series star actually walked the runway for Brazilian designer Colcci, along w/ Victoria’s Secret models Erin Heatherton & Izabel Goulart.
