God damn, it’s not every day you see a 46-year-old woman looking so absolutely beautiful while showcasing her baby bump to the masses. Halle Berry did just that as she wore a dangerously revealing black, lace dress to last night’s premiere of the “The Call” held in Rio de Janeiro. The newly pregnant actress is traveling through South America on a promotional tour for her latest film, which already released in theaters in the US market on March 15.
So, did Halle make a big mistake getting pregnant again so late in her life & career? With all the psychological damage inflicted on Nahla thanks to her shitty relationship with her first baby-daddy, you’d think Halle would’ve gotten her tubes tied by now, but obviously that’s not the case. I guess when you’re a hopeless optimist like Halle, you just assume things will be different the second time around. Wishful thinking.

Since we’re probably not going to see much of the kid once it’s born, might as well get the spotlight fawning over with while it’s still in utero: the Halle Berry Baby Bump is here!
Spotted strolling outside in New York City over the weekend, the 46-year-old actress and mother of daughter Nahla had a small but visible baby bump protruding beneath her long top.
Passersby noted Berry’s maternal instincts that were on display with daughter Nahla where they were spotted eating lunch with her fiancé Olivier Martinez.
“It makes sense now – you could definitely tell they were happy about something,” an observer revealed to People. “They were taking pictures of [Nahla] while she was coloring. Halle and [Olivier] were holding hands and looked happy and lovey-dovey.”

The beautiful Halle Berry showed that age has absolutely no effect on her as the 46-year-old actress ran around the beach in a bikini top with her fiance Olivier Martinez and her daughter Nahla. The trio are currently enjoying a relaxing vacation in Hawaii.
It almost pains me to say this considering how stellar the first half of The Call is, but this movie reaches for the stars before it settles deep in the swamy muck of substandard Hollywood thrillers that typically star Jean Claude Van Damme. Or Sylvester Stallone. Or (shudder) Steven Seagal.
The first half is, as I said, superb: a 911 dispatcher named Jordan (Halle Berry), is haunted by her failure to save a girl from the clutches of a madman (Michael Eklund). When another young teen (Abgail Breslin) is abducted by the same psychopath and calls 911 from the trunk of his car, Jordan goes to tremendous lengths to save the girl. She also does what 911 operators are never supposed to do: make promises to the victims that they will survive.

Jordan has an interesting back story: she’s the daughter of a cop who is also dating a cop and who believes that her calling in life is to save those in peril. The tension that builds in the first hour as Jordan and the teen girl in the trunk make cell phone exchanges is superbly handled by director Anderson.
Unfortunately, and for reasons I cannot fathom, it all turns into an endless series of women and girls screaming in the last 45 minutes which makes you simply want to turn away and walk out. Are we really supposed to believe that Jordan takes what she deemed her life’s mission and turn into just another excuse to watch some dude come to the rescue at the end when Jordan is clearly the heroine of the story?
If so, it’s a travesty, because the film is a good model of high quality production values on a budget. Berry hasn’t been in as good form in quite a while and Breslin is virtually unrecognizable from her cutie pie days of Little Miss Sunshine. Worth the price of admission, if you don’t mind a sucky second half.

Halle Berry flew into Miami yesterday afternoon to attend a screening of her new movie “The Call” along with her co-star Morris Chestnut. The screening was held at the Regal Cinemas South Beach. The actress, who loved showing off her new engagement bling, caught up with her fiance Olivier Martinez at his South Beach restaurant & lounge Villa Azur following the screening.
So what do you guys think of Halle Berry on the Oscars red carpet? There were definitely mixed reviews, with a lot of people who absolutely loved it & others saying that Halle’s look is getting somewhat dated. We’re in the former camp that feels Halle can do no wrong. Even though Halle’s twice divorced & currently going through a very shitty custody battle, the woman simply doesn’t age. And also, more power to her if she chooses not to want to wake up each morning & spend an hour on her hair.
