Celebrities attended the Blue Book Ball hosted by Tiffany & Co at Rockefeller Center in New York City. The ladies came out to check out the new Jazz Age, Art Deco-inspired Blue Book jewelry collection from Tiffany’s. Gwyneth Paltrow wore Ralph Lauren and topped it off with a $110,000 large butterfly brooch with black opals, Montana sapphires and diamonds. Yeah, this is some high-end utlra expensive stuff they’re selling.
The celebrities came out as the New Yorkers for Children 10th Anniversary Spring Dinner Dance was held at Mandarin Oriental Hotel in NYC. Presented by Valentino, “New Year’s in April: A Fool’s Fete” benefitted youth in foster care. With décor designed exclusively by David Stark the night featured dinner, dancing, and a silent auction. Sadly, we haven’t seen any pics of Adriana Lima backstage yet, so let’s just hope they’re keeping her in a more private room or maybe she’s late?! For those of you who don’t know, Adri gave birth to her second child, a baby girl, back on September 12. From what we knew, she was getting prepared to walk the runway, so let’s hope that’s still the case…

Judging by her recent Tweets, Queen Angel is definitely hitting the runway today. Here’s one from 4 hours ago: “I’m so excited to walk the Victoria’s Secret Show tonight and I can’t wait for you to see the show next month!…”

The New Yorkers for Children Fall Gala to Benefit Youth in Foster Care took place last night at Cipriani in New York City on a rainy night. Honored at the event was Justin Tuck of the New York Giants will be honored with the Nicholas Scoppetta Child Welfare Award for his support of NYFC’s educational programming and work combating childhood illiteracy. As we mentioned in our Candice Swanepoel post for the 2012 CFDA Fashion Awards, there were many attendees. Here’s our first batch of ladies who hit the red carpet. Needless to say none these ladies actually won or for that were nominated for any of the awards handed out last night but we’re sure they probably wear a bunch of the stuff those honored are responsible for desigining. Taking place in Jersey City over the weekend was The Fifth Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic Liberty State Park. Basically it was an exhibition polo match hosted by Clive Owen featuring Nacho Figueras, one of the top polo players in the world, leading his Team Black Watch against Team Espresso. The day is supposed to be an event to promote the sport in the United States but really only promoting it to the celebrities in attendance as they sipped champagne and posed for the cameras as you can see from our attendees.
